  • that's the worst 'air guitar' Ive ever seen!

  • O M Gawd - cringe-inducing!

  • Does any one out there in cyber land remember went they had a contest on TV Land of who was the stronger, Samantha or Jeanie. Samantha won.

  • Elizabeth Montgomery was hunnybubbalicious!....

  • It is hard to believe Elizabeth has been gone for almost 17 years now. It is such a shame she died so young. What a beautiful person and fabulous actress she was. Anybody who has not seen the movie "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed" should buy it immediately. Elizabeth and Carol Burnett teamed up for a hilarious film.

  • @PUTSOUTHINYOURMOUTH Elizabeth will have been gone 16 years on 18th May. So very very sad.

  • @PUTSOUTHINYOURMOUTH Young? She was sixty freakin two! - 62

  • @BiggerThinking1 63 is young. Now 83 is old....

  • @BiggerThinking1 As you get older 62 won't seem very old to you.

  • I have always liked Serena, because she was wild and loose, and fun-loving-

  • "Well gang, I think I'll put on a new face before dinner!

    "Oh, pardon Cotton Top!

  • @PUTSOUTHINYOURMOUTH yeah, "Cotton Top" was Serena's playful nickname for Larry Tate -

  • What a wonderful Star ! Check out her here on youtube in The untouchables The Rusty Hiller story with Larry Tate playing her boyfriend! What a Wonder she was! miss her.

  • Elizabeth rocked!!

  • I love Serena. The guitar looks awesome. I want it.

  • I love her guitar!

  • I love the iffin' song. I want the mp3.

  • FABULOUS!!!

  • I wonder how often Larry lay awake at night fantasizing about Serena...

  • @wsterbrg Probably quite a bit, especially as much as she flirted with him!

  • I think a little of both - they were partially glorifying and mocking the hippie lifestyle.

  • Comment removed

  • "wait a minute lu lu" hahahah I love bewithced and this song makes me crack up!!

  • I LOVE Serena!

  • Didn't Elizabeth Montgomery also play the lead in a made for TV movie about Lizzie Borden? There was something familiar about the eyes.

  • @schnitzeldog1

Yes, she did. That is a movie that hasn't been on tv in years. Good movie.

  • Larry is such a g.d. 'yes man'! He can't even judge whether an ad campaign is good or if it's garbage by his own standards! You just want to throttle him! That's probably the most ANNOYING part of watching "Bewitched" as an adult. The best part is finally being able to understand ALL of the jokes--and even some of the throw-away lines given to Darren are the funniest stuff!

  • lol

  • I LOVED the Serena shows. Liz Montgomery was such a good actress. I loved the way she would list herself as Pandora Spocks. When I was little I used to think she had a twin named Pandora.

  • Yeah Yeah Yayeh - she was a hip chick...

  • I wish that you could get this song on Itunes. Bewitched rules!

  • bjon249 I agree 62 is too young to die. Wish she had lived longer.

  • This beat swings, Daddy-o!

  • "...if you wanta leave me weak and weepy, ya gotta look wild and wierd and creepy..."

Straight America thought this was real funny I'll bet.

    ;)

  • @unclemeat2u

I was born 1985 and i'm watching the whole series and this particular clip i was trying to figure out... is it a joke or a tribute to hipppiedom? i still don't know?! but i think it's hilarious myself :P

  • @thebrujaisbackagain It's a little bit of both. I saw a Documentary about The Beatles and how they brought the Psychedelic Look to Pop Culture. It had Psychedelic Kleenex, The Mod Squad, The Monkees, and this.

  • I LOVE it when Serena performs!

  • This is the nadir of Bewitched. I remember when I first saw this on TV, it was so awful that I thought I would die!

  • this was just on TV

  • Cocktails for everyone!

  • Dontcha love Larry and Louise!

  • This is THE best!!I never forgot this song as a kid LOL, cant believe i found it .THe best TV show ever,The best and most beautiful actress ever!

  • Nice groovy

song!! Does anybody know the chords to that song so I can play it??

  • Hard to believe that Elizabeth Montgomery would be nearing 80 if she was still alive today.

  • From the episode, "Hippie Hippie Hooray" telecast on February 1, 1968-

  • Iffin Groovey. Go chick!

  • a beautiful girl with a beautiful guitar. I Love vox guitars

  • Bewitched RULES!

    Named my daughter after Samantha!

    (Stevens, you're FIRED....10 minutes later...STEVENS YOU'RE a GENIUS!)

  • @LIONSMANIAC Everyone was always drinking on this show too. Make mine a double

  • Elizabeth Montgomery and the Iffin' Song rocks. I love Bewitched. There is something really cool about the cheezy but groovy tunes that were created and thrown into the TV shows of the late 60s and early 70s. I can't believe that so many of the cast members of Bewitched have gone to the great cauldron in the sky. It remains a wonderful show in my heart. So glad I was born in 1960.

  • I remember seeing this as a kid and it was so embarrassing.

  • groovy axe man!

  • yeah yeah yeaaah :))

  • Rofl, that's adorable. I love Bewitched.

  • Yes to the other posters who remember it playing over the closing credits. That was twice as nice. (They did the same thing on Alice years later with "Let's Go to the Hop".)

  • You better iffin' girl!!

  • jajajajajaj the best episode... wow elizabeth is so correct when is samantha but like serena is so funny and hilariuos jejejejeej my respect to you liz montgomery

  • This is one strange episode! Serena doesn't look or sound like her three previous appearances. It's as if this was a totally different character! When she pops up again in the beginning of the 5th year--she acts very different again.

  • Serena often disguised herself as Samantha. A part of this episode's plot was that Serena was originally mistaken for Samantha. For that to happen Serena (looking a lot like Samantha) is seen in the newspaper at a Sit-In and the Tate's think she's gone "hippie."

  • I agree...my dad just said that a few days ago....

  • i LOVE Bewiched! one of a kind show.

  • I remember almost falling out laughing at this song, because it was so bad it was good. I think that out of all of Samantha's "Family" Members Serena was without a doubt the funniest, even though she was a pain in the @ss and sometimes got poor Samantha in trouble.

  • Home with the flu today and this episode came on! Elizabeth Montgomery was a pretty gal. Enjoyed this show growing up. A classic all the way.

  • I own seasons 1-6

  • I just thought of this song in the shower a minute ago, and here it is! The show was fun - but this song stands out as exceptionally cringeworthy, that's why I remembered it 40 years down the track! Thanks for the upload, and good on Montgomery for being prepared to put on such an embarrassing performance!

  • i love this show, i own seasons 1-6 now. awesome episode

  • Thanks for uploading this!

I couldn't find it anywhere else.

  • I used to watch Bewtiched and I Dream Of Jeannie every morning before school in the 80s.

  • Me too... but those shows were on their last year of production when I was in kindergarten... how time flies!!!

  • I never thought I hear the Iffin song again. Takes me back to my grade school days!

  • Brings me right back to coming home for lunch in 1st grade and hearing this song and singing it all day (to my classmates dismay...lol..)

  • Indeed! She "rocks" and so you do for this upload! Yeah!!!

  • this was my favorite song,i would sing it constantly!thankx for posting

  • wonderful! i remember this. loved this show.

  • I was looking for this scene. Thank you very much for uploading it :)))

  • If Bewitched was on in 2008 Elizabeth Montgomery would have gotten an Emmy award as there would be NO competition!!!!

  • Don't you mean "Iffin Bewitched was on in 2008..."?

  • Wow the hair is great! She was always so pretty, miss her so much!

  • so glad you posted this video i could never remember what the lyrics were until now. also at the end of this episode as the credits were scrollin, she sang it again but i think (im probably wrong)she may have sung different words or a diff part not sure though =)

  • hey please add me im 17 and absoulutely love bewitched and this song watch it every day :)

  • Iffin', iffin', iffin', NO NO NO! I love Elizabeth Montgomery, but that song is painful.

  • My kingdom for an actress like her!

  • i love this song

  • awesome!!

  • elizabeth montgomery was just so hot!!

  • She has great taste in guitars! Can any musicians out there identify the make & model? I know it's not quite an ES-335...Pretty cool though! :)

  • Yes! It's a 1967 VOX APOLLO V266. Custom painted of course.

  • lol

  • YEAH YEAH YEAH

  • thats cool very nice vid

  • She's incredible! I love her!

  • I just LOVED how she swayed her hips! WOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!

  • This song was supposed to be a satire of everything "mod" and "hippie-ish", '33Mark'- and Liz understood this by having "Serena" sing it in a sly, subversive style...who cared if it didn't make sense {the song was also heard during the closing credits- the only time the regular theme WASN'T used at the end}? And the week this first aired {Feburary 1968}, she appeared on the cover of TV GUIDE wearing one of the "mod" fashions from that episode....

  • Actually, there is one other episode where the regular theme wasn't heard.

That would be the Xmas episode "Sisters At Heart" That episode ends with an orchestral version of Jingle Bells.

  • she is awesome!

  • I still don't understand this song...I didn't understand it when I was a child, and I don't as an adult. She doesn't want to be around someone who practices personal hygiene? That's gross. It doesn't matter if you look "wild and creepy," because that's the freedom of personal expression, but bathe, for the love of Mike!

  • Those were hippie times. Soaps were produced by evil corporations, and combing hair was only done to appease The Man.

    Let the Sunshine In!

  • @33Mark221 you're not supposed to understand it - or rather, you're supposed to interpret it as you wish. It's comedy. It's daft. the end.

  • I always loved this!!! Makes me laugh still!

  • You know, Louise Tate seems downright THRILLED by that song! Look at the expression on her face ... LOL!

  • Elizabeth Montgomery is so GORGEOUS !

Esp when being Serena in this episode, long hair and all. I could just fall in love. (:

  • liz-what a woman..even when i was a boy when i 1st saw bewitched,she-sam-stole my breath away...n left me fantasizing over her..

  • Iffin iffin yeah yeah yeah.... ohhh my, this ep makes me LAUGH!! Aahhh hahahaha very good!!!!

  • hahahaha hilarious "iffin' you wanna leave me weak and weepy, ya gotta look wild and wierd and creepy" hahahaha

  • 10 points to anyone that can identify the make and model of that piece-O-crap geeetar Liz is "playing"

  • When this episode ran originally, this song was used during the closing credits rather than the regular Bewitched theme. I wonder iffin' they'll leave it like that when the DVD is released.

  • I STILL REMEMBER them closing with Iffin'; I couldn't have been more than 10, and I thought that was like THE COOLEST THING EVER. (and at 45, I STILL DO!)

    IFFIN' YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!

  • I'm 48 and I agree! What a great song by "The Belters"!! Loved this show. Loved Sam & Serena & Endora & the rest, too.

  • What a great show - me too! Imagine the real money they'd make if this were on today. Darrin died in poverty and still donated to the poor. God Bless them all. RIP.

  • "Hippie, Hippie, Hooray" was first aired on February 1, 1968, and was probably the first episode in which Serena really "stopped the show" (no pun intended)...

Elizabeth Montgomery said she had a ball playing Serena (and did you notice in later episodes that she was credited as "Pandora Spocks" (think about that for a moment!)?

  • This was an exceptionally funny episode.

  • This must have been a later episode. Sam looks like a hippy!

  • Um, you do realize that's Sam's cousin SERENA pretending to be Sam, don't you? That's Serena singing Iffin, not Sam.

  • they're the same person...liz played both.

  • No kidding, but hhhitt said SAM looks happy when the character singing was supposed to be Sarina.

  • oh, sorry.

    i love serena :P

  • @GoldSodaChick We all know this. Thanks, though.

  • wrong...Serena didn't show when Sam and Darrin needed her...Sam had to "twitch" herself into playing both that night...well until the end

  • This is hilarious. Bewitched still is one of the best shows ever. =D

  • thank you so much for posting this. for some reason i've always remembered this song.

  • I know always taken off the good videos!!

  • I know youtube always taken off good videos!! violation!! whocares!!

  • lets hope those loser scumbags at youtube dont take it off.

  • fucking best video ever

  • This is super bitchin' twichin'!!!

  • TOTALLY LOVE IT, but its a matter of time before these jerks at google/youtube take this off line, everything good on here gets taken off cause of tos violations. This site sux, what's the point if they take all the good stuff off? This is a lame ass website, check out putfile, consumptionjunction, there are others that dont suck like googles crap.

  • my favourite actress of all time

  • Ditto. I still get a bit warm (and I mean that in the nastiest way) when I see Elizabeth Montgomery. She had a sexiness that just pulls you right in.

  • OMG - THANKS THANKS THANKS!

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • Bewitched is awesome!

  • I Love Bewitched!!!

  • ROFL--Bitchin'!

  • LMFAO!!!

One of my favourite episodes EVER!!!

    Cotton-top!! OMFG! LOL!!

And remember the part where Larry notices Serena's guitar and he's like "Most guitars don't have all this psychotic paint all over them!" and Louise is like "That's psychadelic, dear!" I practically die laughing!

  • amo a la hechizada

  • Love it!

  • I have an 8x10 of EM wearing her Iffin song costume! Does anyone have a clip from the Olden days episode?

  • YEAH YEAH YEAH!

  • Hey! That's Pandora Spocks!

  • Intersting that Samantha had a brunette cousin around the same time Jeannie had her brunette sister appear on the ( respective ) shows. lol

  • Actually, 'I Dream of Jeannie' ripped off 'Bewitched'. There was alot of contraversy at the time. 'Bewitched' came on in 1963, as a way for Americans to get over the Kennedy assassination. 'I Dream of Jeannie' first came on in 1965.

  • Actually if you watch E! True Hollywood Story about Bewitched the pilot to Bewitched was being filmed the day Kennedy was shot.William Asher Liz's husband at the time even made mention of it in his interview about the start of the show. The show actually premiered 17 September 1964 according to the internet movie database.

  • looooooooool

AMAZING! I love all the Bewitched's episodes. But sure all episodes with songs are special! Gosh, how I love Bewitched! Thank you veeeeery much for this!
