I was there and think turnout estimate of 1500 may be accurate, at least 1,000+. The guy with the GOP flag pushed his way into the crowd around a ABC-10 reporter and he later was in the midst of what preceded the arrests. arrests happened late after it had rained and the crowd thinned. The arrests were for obstructing traffic, which is a sham; people were crossing in the traffic there all day and police allowed it

That guy wasn't arrested. He was dragged to the other side of the street and then a whole group of us moved to the median. The cops then grabbed three random people (two Black Bloc and one other person) from the median, threw them to the ground and arrested them. The guy who pulled the flag down was just pulled away from the republican.
