  • That was so beautifully done. Well-chosen music with great editing.

  • i wish there was more people like vic

  • Best Combat music video I've seen yet! Definitely Combat is the best WWII series ever made. I just watched a new one today, the Bankroll, I have three left now :D

    Rest in Peace Vic Morrow!

  • One outstanding show...great writting and story lines............ now out on DVD to enjoy and time... Wish the producers and ABC would have allowed the squad into Germany and the wars end. Or perhaps a reunion of the men after the war. But glad we have all these great series to enjoy. Excellent job Sir ...great video. I like " The Volunteer " as my favorite COMBAT episode ! When a young French boy tries to join the squad..... good stuff here !

  • vic morrow is audie murphy!!!

  • This is great! Thanks for posting it. Like many of the others, I was really influenced by Vic Morrow, and it's good to see him again.

  • Your videos with VIC are wonderful OneTrue Doc!!! I see them again and again and I engoy it! It s wonderful to see Sgt. Saunders in such nice scenes.

  • Sgt. Saunders lives!

  • The actor who played Little John was a great writer and was in radio later. He wrote down a lot of the stories about the cast and crew. Vic Morrow's trailer seemed to be the hangout after shooting. they did a lot of the on-site work at the Korbel winery. I've got a pic of the squad and one of korbel's kids holding Morrow'sThompson (wood mockup). the squad is toasting the camera with Korbel and orange juice....Great start to the day's shooting, they said.

  • I think Vic Morrows "Saunders" has impacted quite a lot of ppls lives over the years.

    He certainly impacted mine.

Its so great seeing scenes from Combat here on You Tube.

And the scenes matched so well with the music.

    Thanks 1 true doc.

You brought back some wonderful memories of my favourite show and my favourite actor of all time Mr Vic Morrow .

May he rest in peace. Poor soul. xx

  • Excellent - I can't tell you what impact VM and the cast of Combat had on my life.

    Great job guys.

  • Great Job!! No personality real or imagined influenced my young mind more then Sgt, Saunders. He was the combination of everything I wanted to be as a man. After 40 some years he's still one of my heroes.

  • Not even Audey Murphy could have portrayed a soldier as good as Vic Morrow...Longest running TV WW2 drama of this time.

    RIP VIC

  • No it didn't did it. TV has a hard time showing real battle, the smell, the pain, and the death around you. My uncles and father came back from both theatheres of war and let me know what it was really about, stupid me still joined up in the late 50's thinking what a ball I was going to have, three years in South East Asia (and later a few other places) quickly showed how immature an idea that was.

  • My father was 101st Airborne "Screaming Eagles" deployed in Germany when I was born in the 50's. When I was a little kid with my cousins on the farm we all watched Combat and played army constantly, having learned squad tactics. At 7 or 8 we knew how to pin down a machine gun nest with suppressing fire and flank it, getting in close enough to throw a grenade. A few years later when we were of age to go in the "real" army the Vietnam war was raging and it didn't seem so fun anymore...

  • My dad was in the 101st in Augsburgh Germany area around '56-'58 and where I was born. Hats off to the Screamin' Eagles.

  • Vic Morrow was born for this role. He is one of the most underrated actors of our time. It was so good seeing these scenes again.

  • @dearlydead

    Which one is Vic Morrow?

  • This is very wonderful music and a video. It listens many times. This work comes to like it.

  • My God, that was just beautiful! I love this show, it's why I'm in school to become a military historian. Thank you!

  • Really interesting the impact made by this one show. Read one comment by someone inspired to become a U.S. Navy corpsman by the "Doc" character and you becoming a military historian. Me? When everyone else was choosing to study French and Spanish as their foreign language, I chose German. Ha! Good luck to you. "King 2, over and out."

  • I was 6 years old.....yes..... I wacht i Guatemala my original country....... thaks!!!!!

  • WHOOOOO GO SOLDIERS! Anybody inspired enough to take my place in the army? Only 6 months left!.......C'mon. hehe

  • I would! but that was 7 months ago... I'm gunna when i get older though. :P

  • DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol, why not!?!?

  • Very moving and inspiring.

  • These are the first COMBAT images I have seen for years... where do these tears come from??? Daddy, I miss ya!

  • Loved it! Thanks so much! Red Dawn

  • Thank you, One True!
