Ooooo...one other thing. The first time you go through the riff at 0:40, it sounds like you're bending the string a tiny bit, so the two parts are ever-so-slightly out of tune; you don't do it for all the repeats after that. Thing is...I think that the out-of-tune way sounds absolutely friggin' awesome :)

Hey Sam, I could write 100 lines about how great this is, but you'' be probably helped more with a few lines of critics ;) Digiscream's suggestion of starting with the riff is a cool idea. I have one more problem with this song: there's no logical melody or flow in the song, it still seems a bit like seperate cool songs glued together to form a song. It's bloody hard to get a good instrumental song going, so I think this needs some work, maybe using a repeated chorus.

Just what I've been patiently waiting for. Sounds great but how would you play it live? I read where Paul Gilbert said you started guitar when you were 16 and he's wanting to find out how you got such great vibrato so fast. Must of been those game controllers :) Can't wait for the CD.
