David if I ever hit the lottery big enough I'm going to start another classic country band (retired my Country Traditions in 2004 after 21 years) and I'm coming to England personally to get you and bring you back to be my steel player. And believe me I will pay you well. Hope you will be interested.
Wonderful Pedalsteel! i am looking for a version of Charlie Pride doing Kawliga.
Its a live version but the steel sounds like you playing it. I will post a link if i ever find it again. Thank you for such beautiful music! God Bless.
is there any way i can download this. i like the songs without vocals because the instrumentals are just so beautiful by them selves. i could listen to this all day
Hi David, My name is Kitty and I DJ a Classic Country show on our community radio in Sechelt, British Columbia, Canada. I'd like to feature your music from time to time. Would you be willing to give me a bio of yourself stating how long you've been playing, where your from, etc? Please email me at kranchie@telus.net
I love your sound, you're VERY good. Keep playin' - hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you for posting your beautiful talent. I have always listened to Lloyd Green and until now haven't been able to find anyone close to him. You have mastered a very complicated instrument. Thanks again for your shining beauty.
Nobody does it better. I know, that was the title to a James Bond flick, but I am referring to your music. Great stuff David...And thank you...Cheers..
The idea of playing music for a living is every musician's dream but, truth be told, if you like to eat reguarly the 'day job' makes more sense. The pay can be spotty and the nomadic life of a road musician can be hazardous to your health. Having said that, David, my man, you have great hands and good taste...
Dave, I trust you are not so modest as not to know there is something quite unique and appealing about your playing, you just seem to have some special clarity that is head and shoulders above a great many of others playing the same instrument. Thank you for the pleasure you bring.

I wish to thank you all for your comments to my youtube broadcasts. It is very much appreciated. I do try and contact you all personally if there's any questions that I have been asked, and I also make note of all your requests too. I have some great ideas for future videos and I will try and play some of your requests also.
Okay if you like this then you will SLOVE (super love) Robert Randolph!!! Robert Randolph is THE BEST pedal steel guitarist I have ever heard! He just came out with a new CD and it’s AMAZING! His solos of him rocking out are to die for! When I listen to his music, I can feel every note, The music really just runs through your body and there aren’t too many artists I can say that about!! Check him out! You won’t be anything less than AMAZED

His solos of him rocking out are to die for! When I listen to his music, I can really feel every note and there aren’t too many artists I can say that about! Check him out!
I started teaching myself steel guitar last week. This is what I hope to be able to play like someday. I've got a long way to go. Thanks Dave for being a great inspiration.
What's so amazing and cool about the pedal steel [and I'm sure what makes it so hard to learn] is what happens with the pedals and knee levers. The player doesn't move the slide all that much say in comparison to a regular guitar played slide style. But listen to all the notes coming out. WOW!. Great playing and one of my favorite songs.
I thought I detected a British or Australian accent. I'm REALLY blown away now by Daves playing. He could have been born in Alabama...Tennessee....Lousiana....somewhere in the South. Why does he have so much talent and I have none?
Have you ever heard the Ray Price song " Unloved, Unwanted...... Would love to hear you do you stuff on it. It was the first song I lerarned to play on my guitar 41 years ago.
I was just enthralled...I love the cry of the Pedal Steel...I only play organ by ear...no real talent just please myself...but was lost listening to you play,,,don't ever stop..
Carry on My British Friend. I,m a Yank, and I,ve heard nobody better, I play multiple instruments, and sing pro. Kudos to John Stannard also. He is amazing. Keep it up and thanks.
This is absolutely..... wonderful! My favourite piece of music...5 stars from me. Keep it up. Awesome!! I think you should play more yodelling songs of Slim Whitman...and I am sure they will sound Great on your musical instrument...
just great ,the phraseing is perfect a steel builder once told if you cant make your steel say something where people can know what your playing, then its just bufflo chips . keep up the great sound
Thats really great! My Steel player was taught by 'Moony" fro Waylons band. I hate him,the kid can play anything & very well too!:) Thats the way we've been playing it in Texas for 25 years now! Keep it COUNTRY Hoss! Herb
What amazes me is the tone this awesome steel guitar artist gets out of 8 strings and 3 pedals(A B and C). I am a lap steel player and i learn so much listneing to you Dave, maybe there is a pedal steel in my future after all at age 64???
I love your choice of songs and your playing. Do you have a cd of these songs that could be used as back up to my vocals. Most of the tunes that you do are in the keys suited for my voice. Thanks,
Dave, I have no requests, because you do play most of my favorites, thank you so much.
