Hi! I just got the same type of laser of a shape of a pen and the batteries are supposed to be in the bottom but it doesnt turn on in any of the four ways!! im stressing out, is there a tricy or exact way to do it? please contact me. thanks :)

@xxwhoelse Sounds like your laser is faulty. I'd contact the manufacturer and make sure you have the right batteries and are putting them in the right way.

Yes. Using a laser with reflective surfaces like this is dangerous so safety glasses are a must.

Green lasers will all have the same color but not the same brightness. Brightness depends on the power of the beam and how wide the beam is.
