Yeah, because running around and tackling a ball off someone is much harder than actually tackling people to the ground. Footballers get paid exstortionate amounts of money for kicking a ball around whereas rugby players get paid much less and may encounter life changing injuries due to it.

Dude. I love both sports, but soccer is NOT a pussy sport. Try playing indoor soccer. The skill of outdoor soccer + the contact of hockey. Shoulder checks, slide tackles, hacking away at someone's shins = ALL LEGAL.
