@fallenskates1 Hey I am just getting started and doing plenty of research. Another method of cloning I know about is putting the grown plant into the 12/12 photo cycle to see its sex then putting it back to 18/6 to force it back to veg… Is this the easier way you are referring to?

@dre4203 no becuase when u force it back to veg itl confuse the plant and its just not worth the time but the one way too tell is to let it keep growing in veg until they start to show signs of matureity and if u cant let it keep growing like if its in a small space u can us lst to conttrol upward growth or u could put a clone under 12/12 like shown but there are many ways of telling sex that most people do that uk work for them and i didnt start that long ago eiither just keep reaserch

he basically made the scissor cleaning pointless by dipping the cuttings into the same thing..You actually just use one of those markers you stick down to label what strain it is..Get a bit of gel on it and just wipe it like that. Definitely should not be doing that thou.

can you clone in plain soil? ive tried it a few times and i keep failing. i prune a nice stem and put it in a powder of the harmone and then put it in a good soil.

@50JohnBoy If you're growing with soil try using peat moss. The roots won't grow in any soil normally because they aren't strong enough. They have to from a grip over what they're growing in before they get any bigger.

You can buy feminized seeds that are 100% female but if the plant is shocked at all it could caust it to switch to male plant. I suggest when you buy a pack of ten or twelve regular seeds, germinate them all. Most of the time you are lucky to have 3 to 5 female plants out of it. unless you want to breed the plants just get rid of the males. you can clone the mothers over and over. you can even take clones of clones. Takes a week give or take a couple of days to clearly sex them.

heh...now that would be a slap in the balls if they both came out to be male lol...but cloning solution is dirty cheap so why not put a bit on a plate,spread it then rub the tips of the stems into that?...that way no brushes touch no double dipping..x-contam'g

Ok I gotta point this out. You're using good septic procedure with the scissors by wiping them down w/ alcohol between cuts, but you're destroying that by dipping each clone in the same jar of solution. You could still be cross-contaminating. Maybe painting the solution on with a brush that you rinse in alcohol (then water) between each clone might do a better job.

Rockwool cubes. the nutrients are Flora 3 part series. its not the same as the insolation in houses its pecifically for growwing.

u can buy them over the internet, just do a search on google and u will find sum, they dont have to be these types of seeds they can be any type

@stoner1498 forget getting seeds. Just buy clones. That way you can skip all the steps to see if you have females. Plus it saves you a ton of time. I go from clones to trimming in less than a 90 day cycle. I would only go the seed route if I was just cloning.
