get a mopar 318 they run bad ass when they get hot and i have about 8 wires with a points distributor

@crotchfire14 Yes it did back then. But it was stuck in canadian format. We removed the dash out of that car in 2010.

@DemolitionMissions yeau ～　i asked because I saw one from local fair driving down the Trans-Canada Freeway once at about 3.00am @ 80kph .. really noisy and engine was smoking a bit. too bad that i didnt have a camera & nothing posted... would definately be interesting to watch for sure.. tho they might get fined for it like the person that mounted a camera and maxed out his sports car on the freeway

Lincoln Town Car?? Looks like a CFI 302. Not much power at all but very tough motors. Why did it get turned to a demo car?

@moparmaniac21 1981 Lincoln Continental. The car was in a wreck and sent to junkyard by previous owners. Yes your correct on the 302 engine. Very good engine so far for us after using it 3 years.

If ur not running an electric fan & ur only running an alternator to charge battery that is not needed.My suggestion to u (i've ran Ford motors for 8 years now) is buy an HEI style distributor for the Ford motor.Like a chevy it's a 1 wire ignition.I've ran up to 20 minutes or longer & never ended with a dead batt. because of no charging system.The alt on my car is only there to tighten belt for the accessories.
