I love the beauty of wood, and style of the different designs I see. How do you get started. Should I take a bass that I have and take measurement, The neck and head, how hard are they to build, and why is it so hard to find detailed info on how to build? I would love to take a class but I don't have the time or money to up root and leave for a few months to go to a school. Any help, thanks

@Roy1271 I would check out Luthier's Corner on TalkBass.com, there is a wealth of knowledge there. Also, StewMac.com has a ton of books and supplies you might need. Good luck!
Wow! That's a stunning bass. I saw a few in-progress pictures o this one but I don't think I even saw it finished. Jared did an amazing job! Oh... great finger funk too!
I always like to check in on whatever is new by JCBasses..and as usual, this bass is almost cooler than the rest (each one getting better as they roll off you`re line)..keep up the craft and the playing ALWAYS, TB
