I learnt to drive ,on a 1960 Herald, bought a MK2 '70 PI, in 1971, traded for a 1973 Stag, in 1974, kept it for 4 years, sold it, bought another '59 Herald for a while, prior to emigrating to the USA. I now have another 1973 Stag, which is a show car....but, the PI was the best......DaveLJ

My first car is a Triumph Spitfire 1500. I still have it 29 years later and drive it now and then. Other cars come and go but I've always kept my Spitfire!

o we drive them......we got 3 and we thrash them. Although it is disrespectful to the triumph, this one was ill treated but! i am tempting to restore my triumph
