@MrKichee You'll have to try and get it into odin mode and use odin to unroot

Hey qbking...first of all, you are a freaking inspiration. thank you for all the effort and experience you're sharing. I ran into a problem, though. Old pc crashed - the one with Odin on it - and the d/l link on the ACS site for 1.85 is broken. Any way to get a copy of it? I'd love to get the OTA update sprint is pushing to me :)

I did this an all appeared to be working until the "Auto Reboot" Now all i get is

Manual mode in yellow

then says updating application

Installing apks

sucessfully updated application

BUT i can't do anything since this is Android system recovery 3e.

Any ideas?

Hey, sorry for all the questions latly. But i need to go stock so i can get my wifi back.... I Followed the video you told me to and it didnt fix the wifi (auto root) and now i just want to go stock, with a stock kernel and use auto root to get root. Will this get me stock if im on EK02????

Hey qbking first off thanks for all of the videos they are very informative. I got an issue tho i tried installing a TnZ rom had issues went back to stock using this method everything was ok, i tried again different version of the rom still having issues.Now when i try to go back to stock everything goes fine, but when it boots it loops the sprint 4g animation it wont go further. I tried restarting the pc and reflashing, different usb slots, took out the sd card dont have a different cable tho

@qbking77 I am having a hard time reverting back to stock. I followed the instructions to the letter. I got a pass at the end of the process. But when the phone rebooted it was exactly the way it was before I started. All my apps were still there. No data wipe. I even have the superseded app still others phone from when I rooted and can't unintelligible it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@BLUDUVASLAVE If you tried to use root access for an app it wouldn't work. You are unrooted, but no data was wiped. If you'd like to wipe data, go into stock android recovery and wipe data/factory reset.

also noticed that when you have the odin process running, your phone's screen says CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: NO and mine says YES (2 counts) probably not good.

@jhbchristopher I think I figured out my problem, I already did the update to ek02 before I did this unroot to eg30 (was having wifi issues after the update which was why I wanted to restore), LOL should have payed a little more attention to the video. second question and this is "remotely related" to going back to stock for warranty purposes. Have you seen or heard anything about the "random menu press" bug? basically when the phone is one the menu key will activate (though the screen isn't being touched) very rapidly. the only workaround for now is turning the screen off, then back on. Please let me know if you know anything key tests in recovery show nothing so i don't know if it's software or hardware (tried multiple roms/kernels/radios)

@MrQueenster Yeah I love it its great. If I were you, if you're not going to do much gaming/video watching/visual stuff, I'd look for a 15 inch instead of a 17 inch. It's pretty heavy. I have no issues with that and haven't installed any plugins.

@MrQueenster Yeah definitely, make sure you get the better graphics card as well as the 8gb of mem. 

I use mine for various android stuff as well as video editing and encoding (of course)

I'll play games on it like cod and such and watch movies and tv shows. Not one single issue with it. The speakers are awesome too.
