  • ugly jap

  • While I also am squirmish and upset over this, I think it's unfair to say bad things about all Japanese people. Not many were aware of this and people act like these things don't go on in other countries. In the US, you should watch the documentaries on cows, chickens and wolf air gunning. Its far worse than this practice because it happens everyday and in large numbers and they are purchased by many well known companies. The steroids put in these animals are also harmful at times. :(

  • This is disgusting. Leave them animals alone.

  • There is a place for all of gods creatures, next to my green beans and mashed potatoes. lol

  • All species deserve equal rights, no species should be consumed by living beings whom do not have to eat the species for survival but merely for pleasure.

Eating animals for survival is okay but those days are gone for most of humanity, now its only for pleasure but not enough people have realized this because they grow up in a similar mind frame in the sense of eating animals to that of their ancestors as unchanged ideas are passed on.

    please help stop this.

    The century's only begun.

  • Dolphins are friends, not food.

  • @AaronPaulJacobs Japanese : dolphins are food, not friends.

  • i know this is part of their culture, but this is fucking horrible, and after watching the cove, i was disgusted with these fisherman, why doesnt our media ever report about this? I never knew about this until watching the cove, these fisherman have no morals or respect towards dolphins. and i a m not saying i hate the japenese people but those fisherman, and guards and anyone else who is involved with this, i hate them with every part of my body. I have no feelings or remorse for them.i hate em

  • @thunderhawk64 This isn't culture or tradition, the Japanese people don't know what happens in the cove. At the beginning of the film Ric tells us about a fisherman who said if the world finds out what happens there they will be shut down.

  • only a few million out of 6.4 billion people on earth support the sea shepherds, thats what they said. no one gives a shit about this issue, meaning let them kill dolphins stupid greenpeace terrorists

  • I know they hurt, and that's why I don't eat them & contribute to that pain or to the pollution factory farms cause. Do you? But this wasn't about eating anything. It's about senseless & brutal slaughter. I must have hit a nerve. I always find it amusing when someone runs out of intelligent things to say (which in this case was very quickly), and can only toss out a bunch of profanity to make themselves look/sound all rough and tough. What are you, 12??

  • Lilmosey, let me tell you something.

To live is to kill. If you don't do the killing, you pay somebody else to do the dirty job.

We mankind as part of the food chain we eat other species to survive. It's okay as long as it's sustainable.

I use profane language to all those who arrogantly criticize Japanese whaling with totally irrelevant or incorrect reasons.

    They so deserve f-words.

If you'd like an intelligent conversation, you got it.

Just make sure to bring decent premises.

  • Leaving aside the issue of whether or not it is ok to kill Dolphins for food in the first place. Do you honestly think they should be allowed to kill the Dolphins the way they do, slitting their throats and leaving them to bleed/drown in their own blood? If that was done to cows, in any first world country the person doing it would be imprisoned pretty quickly.

  • I do honestly think that if there was an alternative way to kill them less painfully, it should be considered. But this should not happen just because some foreign country thinks it is cruel.

One more thing, we mankind can relate to the pain inflicted upon dolphins because we are mammals, too. But we don't feel much when we step on a cockroach.

What do you think about that?

  • Despite how it may appear, I am not much of an eco warrior or anything like that. I eat meat, quite happily and don't have a problem with the slaughter of animals in a humane manner.

I have never trod on a cockroach, and would go out of my way to try not to stand on one when at all possible.

  • There is no such thing as a humane manner of slaughter.

None of these animals man eats ask for it. It just happens because we are animals, too. Don't think that cows and pigs and chickens get slaughtered in humane fashion.

  • @fastballonly if the japanese were to do the slaughtering in doors, out of the public views, i bet the faggot activist wouldnt care. just like here in america, if you dont see it, then it doesnt bother us.

  • @jukio02 I see you point. But there is no relevant reason why a slaughter should be condoned or opposed sole by virtue of the visibility of the slaughter, is there?

The fact is whaling of dolphins or other types of whales are approved by IWC. And the Japanese whalers are only engaged in legal whaling.

The opposition, who are obviously driven by anti-whaling ideology, should take it to IWC through legal means, and not resort to terroristic measures like SS and GP.

  • Fuck these eco-twist activists who oppose Japanese whaling and dolphin hunting.

These self-proclaimed whale-crusaders are so preoccupied with their ideology that they try to push their value upon us. That is bullshit.

  • So what? let them kill the dolphins just because they are beloved by Americans do to our cheesy tv shows doesn't mean other cultures shouldn't be allowed to eat them. Why do Americans always feel like they have to push their wacko sense of morality on other cultures?

  • You have GOT to be kidding me! These mammals are barbarically herded up & slaughtered in the most brutal fashion. They are as intelligent as humans. Sadly, thanks to the pollution of "man" their flesh is loaded with poisonous mercury. Besides the barbarity of the slaughter, the meat is not fit for consumption. The very fact that they can't find any to kill shows they have hunted them to the brink. This is no "wacko sense of morality" - this is doing what is right for our planet!

  • It is also NONE of our business how other countries kill animals in their own waters and land. I don't care if they are of high intelligence, and if they were really as smart as humans they wouldn't get caught. The fact that they can't find any to kill does show that they may have been irresponsible in how they handle this resource (There can be many other factors mind you.) but again it isn't our say. You can argue that point till your face turns blue but the fact of the matter still stands.

  • The fact of the matter is that all of us are responsible for the planet as a whole. Without intelligent, caring people who are willing to take a stand against antiquated stupidity, there won't be anything left for future generations to inherit - no air fit to breathe, not even a vegetable fit to eat & absolutely no water fit to drink. It doesn't matter what some map shows, the inescapable fact is that the ripple effect turns on ALL of us around the globe. Ever heard of the butterfly effect?

  • You think cows don't hurt? How about chickens and pigs and sheep? Level of intelligence is irrelevant in determining what species can be eaten or not.

You are not the one to decide what is right for our planet.

You don't fucking represent mankind, shitface.

    Fuck off!!

  • I never said that they don't hurt. And I don't really care that they do, those animals are food not friends. Again never said I was the voice of all of man kind or represented any views of mankind other than myself. I was expressing my ideas and views as is my right to do so. But thanks for being an assuming "shitface" and reminding me just how much I hate people who act and express themselves as you do. At least Lilmosey engaged in intelligent conversation instead of mindless name calling

  • Wait a minute, CN073. I thought I responded to Lilmosey, not you. I like your comments above.

In whaling(dophins are whales) issue, there is this unilateral pushing of "wacko sense of morality" as you put it. It is unfortunately prevalent now due to the propaganda by those anti-whaling Aussies and like-minds elsewhere.

I engage in intelligent discussions with a fair mind like yourself, but I have no mercy to those arrogant anti-whaling crusaders who tell my country what to eat and what not

  • @CN073 ur a fucking idiot. thats all I gotta say. Dolphin meat contains high levels of mercury which is toxic to the human body. Dolphin meat is being packaged and sold as around the world "whale meat" misleading and harming millions. Being a good human is also for ur fucking information not a "wacko sense" or whatever bullshit u said. Would u like me to take u to my country, put u in a cage and fuckin stab u to death infront of your loved ones? Dolphins like humans are self aware you piece of

  • @jsdptenis Lol why don't you go cry about puppys in kill shelters or something? That's OUR problem to deal with stop trying to push your morals and ideals on other countries and cultures that don't share your same view.
