i keep getting this error that says DO check your mods/bf2/shaders for staticmesh.fx and it says check working directory? I finally got the shader.rar and extracted all to the shaders folder in bf2 and it still didnt work! do i have to extract to sandbox mod instead? Btw the error is when i click on sandbox it gives me a black screen

yea its the new patch, with a faulty shortcut. go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\sandbox or C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\sandbox and click where it says start normal. It should run fine

yes but you then need to buy BF2.. and you dont need CSS. its just recommended i dont have CSS and Gmod 10 works perfect for me. just download reskins of gloves and your good.

not exactly. this is just a mod where you can place objects in game. the farcry 2 map editor is made for making maps and playing them competitively. in this your editing the map in game online, but you can do it single player of course
