A few anti ballistic missile batteries will be enough to stop any ballistic missile attack launched by them, but would hardly put a dent against Russia. @fonRihten The EU has no army or equipment. Individual countries who belong to the EU do, but the EU itself is a political and economical union. As for the weapons themselves, Eastern Europe is nowhere near the same level in anti-missile technology than Germany or the UK, yet alone the US. The US took the initiative on a missile shield, because our technology is far superior and can do much more, as our economic position allows for such funding.
