your right leg flies out of that starting block...the step of you right foot is enormous. that right foot should take a little step as soon as the gun goes off. that little step is really what makes you explode. not getting out of the actual spot.
not bad, just keep your front foot lower on the block, with the toe on the ground. pretty good form other than that. only other thing is that your arms are a little wide, slightly criss-crossing the body. try and keep them a little bit more parallel. nice job tho
Squats, Deadlifts, Glute-Ham Raises, Hip Thrusts, Hyper-Extensions, Reverse-Hyper Extensions, Romanian Deadlifts, Dumbell Swings, and Sled-Dragging should all be done to improve your drive phase. I'm sure you already know that you come out of drive phase about 5m-7m to early. Other than that nice triple extension. But I would like to see the right leg extend out a little bit further on the start. Flexibility would help, but everyones different.
@145bobby I'm forever trying to improve my start and although i get it right on occasion, not nearly enough. I'd be very interested to hear further thoughts on how I can improve it.
Coming out of the drive phase too early has always been a problem of mine any hints or opinions are welcomed and encouraged if you can.
@runNoddyrun keep your head down and gain more strength, i have read that lack of strength makes you come up earlier..i do that to, my strength is my weakness :(
all you gotta do is work on your arms, your legs look good outa the blocks...just practice without running, if you know what i mean
@runNoddyrun i read on a site called speedendurance.[dot].com or something that coming out of the drive phase too fast is because you don't have enough strength in you legs and thus can't maintain balance in the leaning angle needed for correct accelaration and so you readjust your center of gravity too early so that you don't fall down. So if what i read is correct you need more strength SO you need to squat and build it i guess. hope that helped you man :)
Didn't complete 2nd step

i would say pretty good, but you raised up too fast once you passed about 5m and your left hand does not get high enough
