I know / think Nat King Cole's version gets played more, but i think Mel Torme had a beautiful voice, and I like his version (the original) better....
What happens arrangement-wise at minute 1:11, 2:27 and 2:51 makes me see the stars...amazing chords, amazing vision, amazing heart...God bless Mel! And God bless who arranged this classic!

Mel Torme was a great singer who for some reason, was sadly underrated. If he had movie star looks, perhaps he would have gotten his due.
