  • My reaction to SOPA and PIPA getting dropped by congress and now they're making a newer and stronger bill called, "OPEN."

  • Nothing funnier than hearing Data curse. XD

  • Oh shit... I forgot my chicken in the oven.

  • Data describes the movie!

  • Data: Oh shit..does this thing have airbags? (looks at everyone, no response, blank stares)...you know airbags...no....really beep you people...arrrrgh (ship crashes).

  • Can anyone tell me what Data would have said if he never installed the emotion chip in the first place?

  • @jedikenneth "My calculation of the odds of us surviving this crash are 2,000,000 to 1 sir" 'crashes'

  • @jedikenneth becuz his brother lore stole his emotion chip becuz lore already had one install and then Data got it back after killing his brother he was worried that he was going be like his brother and not match with the right matrix

  • Saw this in theatres; everyone laughed so hard

  • ... KNOW he said shit?... he saw a crack i tne window... and was like... MY ROBOT SOMTHING NEADS ME TO CLEAN THAT UP... oooh Shiit... where out of papier...

OH DUBLE SHIT WER GONA DIE!!! tell my computer i love her

  • they're thinking it

    he says it

  • If Data is swearing at something like that, then you know the emotion chip is working perfectly.

  • My reaction to the SOPA law.

  • He's describing Star Trek from Next Generation to Enterprise. Shit. thank you JJ Abrams for saving the franchise.

  • @Machammerballs heh, wow.

    just wow.

  • I'm strangely turned on.

  • "It's really well done!"

  • Best Data line ever!

  • best part of the movie right there

  • well, what else do you say when your riding 2 million tons of hot metal into a planet? oh shit just about covers it... am i the only one who thinks that troi should never, EVER, be allowed to drive ANYTHING, ever again...? didn't think so. oh for and anyone who dares apologize for her becasue she landed the ship well... that was the computer and data landing the ship... she just sat there wetting her emotianl little britches... pretty britches... but she is definetly not helmsman material...

  • disclaimer: I do not own star trek in any way xD

  • Well, I guess that proves that the emotion chip works lol.

  • My reaction when you oversleep right through the alarm, realizing you now have 7 mins to make up an excuse as to why your 2 hours late to work/class.

  • This ranks in the top 5 Data moments ever. loool.

  • BEST Line ever by an android! ;-)

  • HILARIOUS!

  • Mother fucking Riker. "lets just stand here and derp while they wail the fuck out of us."

  • Oscar.

I would've just walked on set and given him the little golden man right then and there.

  • hahahahahahahahaha mother fucker. Thats what I think everyone would be thinking.

  • His face and those two words: "Ohh, shit!" That should've won them an award right then and there.

  • Two things I remember about that moment: It got a big laugh from the audience, and the BBC edited it out for its UK TV premiere... -_-

  • Boosh!

  • EPIC!!! xD

  • You know you're fucked when one of the top comments is repeating the other top comment.

  • worst intonation ever

  • When Data says o shit, it means that you are pretty much fucked

  • I love this so much and they CUT IT when it was on tv. So dissapointed.

  • funniest part of the whole movie!

  • Lmao! I love me some Data.

  • Ties for my f avert line Data says in the movies, the other is from First Contact when data says "I believe I speak for thew rest of the crew when I say....To hell with our orders"

  • Did he really say this on the show?!

  • @MyceliaProductions42

    Star Trek Generations

It was a movie. A highly bad movie. Probably the worst Star Trek movie ever made.

This is but one redeeming moment.

  • @LtSurge659 Obviously you've never watched Star Trek the Motion Picture....

  • @dave36464736

I have. It was somewhat bad... but it had an engaging story. At first it was somewhat boring but it grew on me.

  • @LtSurge659

If you can say Generations is the worst you haven't seen them all. Not nearly.

  • @ThirdRAILKink Obviously never seen first movie and 5 of the original series.

  • @MyceliaProductions42 No...This was from Star Trek: Generations.

  • @Splinter48708 Oh my bad. Thanks.

  • When the Soong-class android starts swearing, you know you're fucked and there is nothing you can do about it

  • ROTFSWL! The best line in the whole of Star Trek.

  • This was a low moment for Star Trek. Gene Roddenberry would not have liked this. 79 TOS episodes, 178 TNG episodes, 6 feature films and without a swear word. Cheap joke.

  • @FloatingOnAZephyr Commander Riker Swore in Insurrection.

  • @badwolf66 Insurrection was after this.

  • @FloatingOnAZephyr Actually It's Generation > First Contact > Insurrection > Nemesis

  • @badwolf66 Yes, and this is Generations...

  • Comment removed

  • @FloatingOnAZephyr

You are incorrect -- both Spock AND Kirk swore, numerous times, in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. There are many examples, but 2 other "cheap jokes" include:

"They are not the hell your whales"

    "Double dumbass on you!"

I cant post links to their youtube clips, but I found the clips in under 1 minute of searching. Also, I remember Picard, McCoy, and others saying things like "damn" pretty frequently - oh & Picard sometimes said "merde", which is French for "shit."

  • @parkerwolf8 'Dumbass', 'damn' and 'hell' are hardly swear words. 'Merde' may mean shit but it doesn't carry that weight to an English speaker. Put it this way, 'shit' wouldn't go out on the BBC at 6 o'clock on a Wednesday when Star Trek used to air. I'm not being a prude, it's just not Star Trek. Roddenberry's vision was a utopian future where people had learned to pursue the betterment of themselves. It just doesn't fit.

  • @FloatingOnAZephyr

Actually, they are ALL swear words. Just because some of them have are on TV, it doesnt mean they are not swear words. Arguing about what GR would have or not have wanted while splitting hairs on what is & is not a swear word doesnt fit either. I think in GR's world, words would FINALLY just become WORDS, not inherently bad or good - just descriptors in a common language. Just like women & men, white ppl & POC, Earthlings & aliens are all equal - words would just be words.

  • @parkerwolf8 There is a world of difference between 'damn' and 'shit' and to argue otherwise is facetious. None of the countless writers in 257 episodes up to that point (I don't know how many DS9s had been released by Generations) thought 'shit' should appear in the dialogue but for the sake of a cheap laugh in Generations that fine tradition was thrown out the window. It didn't fit. I wasn't outraged, but I did shake my head. It isn't something I expected in Star Trek having grown up with it.

  • @FloatingOnAZephyr

Good goddamn - I cant argue with this kind of blatant ignorance! A swear word is a swear word is a swear word -- if this were the 1960's & we were talking about the original ST, then damn & hell would be HUGE deals. You continue to believe whatever the hell it is you want to believe and keep being a baby about someone saying "shit." Later & blocked.

  • @parkerwolf8 I'll let the people reading the comments decide who sounds ignorant here. If you're suggesting damn is as strong a word as 'shit', 'fuck', 'cunt' then you really are making an insane point. Damn gets you a PG rating, 'cunt' gets an 18/R. You're alone in thinking all expletives are of equal strength. I speak three languages and when I learn expletives I learn how strong they are. 'Damn/Hell' were used countless times in TOS, nobody cared. They did say 'shit' in the 60s too you know.

  • @parkerwolf8 Obviously you haven't seen the Dating Game. Television in the 60s was actually pretty progressive in a lot of ways, more so than now. I believe the problem with damn and shit is that damn can be used in a non vulgar way, such as 'the bad decision damned his crew', shit on the other hand pretty much has only one context

  • @TheRhinehart86

Blah blah blah - we're babies and dont like "shit" -- but "dumbass" is ok.

They're either all "wrong" or none of them are "wrong".

    Period.

At some point, you both will have to stop crying and realize they are JUST WORDS.

  • Comment removed

  • @FloatingOnAZephyr Don't forget Kirk referring to "those Klingon b@stards". TNG had the same word in "The Outrageous Okona".

  • you know your doomed when teh data says that

  • Well that emotion chip definitely makes Data's responses a bit more human like, however you know you're boned when the android is holding back a loaf.

  • god, generations was terrible

  • @freash8 If you think this makes him more human, you should see the episode where he sleeps with some girl, hehehe......can't remember her name, now, but she was the young blond girl at the beginning of tng, back in the early 90's.

  • @25151206 "The Naked Now"

  • @MrLayThatPipe That's the one. Been so long since I seen it, I forgot her name, hehe

  • @25151206 "Tasha Yar"

  • @25151206 Tasha Yar

  • @TheTripledz Sorry it looks random but I accidentally posted this in the wrong spot, it was a response to a question.. Tasha Yar is the chick that Data dittled in first few seasons.

  • Does anyone else hate TNG, but like Data?

  • Hey, umm, which star trek film was this from again? Kinda lost track of em all, hehe

  • How do you spell PooP ??

  • The theater exploded into laughter when that line was said. Everyone knew it was coming... but the payoff was just too great!

  • sorry i mean and KNOW that they are crashed;)

  • Damn. That's awesome

  • This ranks up there with Zephram Cochrane's scream in "First contact" when the warp drive works.

  • Funniest moment in Trek history.

  • sometimes I click on these videos just to read the comments....lol

  • @vk732 So do I. Lol

  • Thats my reaction to battlefield 3's gameplay trailer.

  • fucking awful film... Data was fucking creepy IMO.

  • Which episode is this?!

  • @clokkerfoot It's not an episode,it's a movie :)

  • @clokkerfoot It's a movie called 'Generations'. if you want to watch it, you'd probably want to rent it unless it's on one of the movies channels like HBO. Any regular cable station bleeps this part out.

  • An entirely accurate summery of the situation.

  • you can only see data even act close to this in this movie

  • lol I didn't know the Ooh Shhhit was from Star Trek XD

  • He used a contraction, he should have said, Ohhhh bullshhiiit.

  • Best Clip Ever

  • I like the part when he was like, "Ooohhh... Shiiitt"

  • @gearsofhaloauto: I agree with you on that one!

  • Data was the best character on TNG!!!

  • In my honest opinion, that was the best few minutes of Data that I have ever seen. I agree, you should know that you are so fucked if an android starts to curse. XD Thumbs up if you agree.

  • haha this was when brent spiner realizes that the movie's going wrong and the enterprise is crashing

  • You know your fucked when the android starts swearing

  • @IHeartAnimals101 The highest rated comment already says that -_-

  • I saw that the movie was being rerun on tv i sat through the whole movie just to find out that they cut shit out of the script

  • @rgregoryoa Same here, I just saw it on tv and when it got to that part they cut out his voice.

  • Funniest Trek moment ever.

  • oh you know shit hit the fan when the android swears.

  • Which episode is this???

  • @vanilovesmetal its from the movie Star Trek: Generations

  • @Luigifan66 thanks;)

  • @vanilovesmetal no problem :3

  • Was the planet we saw there the earth???Sorry for my bad english;)

  • @vanilovesmetal Nope, it's a different planet with life. :)

  • @SoulReaperRukia

    ah thanks;)

  • It is Veridian III

  • @SoulReaperRukia In the movie it's called Veridian III.

  • @jedikenneth

I always found it odd how the entire planet looks lush and green (covered with trees and stuff where the Enterprise crashed) yet the scenes with Picard (and Kirk) and Soran take place in the middle of a freaking expansive desert. I guess I'm used to more typical sci-fi planets, where if there is a desert anywhere on the planet, it's because THE ENTIRE PLANET is desert.

Lucky for the people of Veridian IV when they get advanced enough for space travel, though!

  • @vanilovesmetal It's the planet of Veridian 3

  • @drevildruid

oh thanks i know that now because i saw the movie. But thanks for the answer;D

  • @vanilovesmetal If you had payed attention during the movie you would know this

  • @weswii

1.I'm not so long Star Trek fan, just since the end of 2010,i have not seen all films and episodes.

2.As i have posted this question here,i had not seen the film.

3.I have seen the film now and that they are crashed on Veridian 3,and i know that veridian 3 is indeed a class-M Planet, but no one lives there.

Perhaps they are mistakes in my answer,I'm from Germany

  • @vanilovesmetal the Planet was Viridian III

  • @DantesonofSparda85

    i know it now:D but thanks;D

  • @vanilovesmetal Veridian III. :)

  • @vanilovesmetal Your english is fine! *hug*

  • @vanilovesmetal

    Its Veridian 4

  • @hugamumfterwoof no its Veridian III

  • @scotty00001

its varidian IV as when data and picard are in stellar cartography data says varidain III is uninhabited that's where soran is building his missile and varidian IV is where the klingon ship decloaks and attacks the enterprise

  • And an excellent time to describe the situation with a single word..*GG*

  • When this movie airs on TV, lots of times they censor that line out. Which is a shame, because it's the funny line of the movie.

  • And this is how I learned the word "shit" in elementary school.

  • I believe it is conclusive that it was a logical human reaction to an increase in adrenalin usually caused by anxiety. Wow, now I am talking like Data.

  • @planetary109 More like Spock.

  • @bigpyro1618 lol yeah

  • @planetary109 Now you are thinking with positronics.

  • @planetary109 Of course, data doesn't have the capacity for adrenal reactions...so he was just doing the most logical response based on his previous interactions with other humans. Umm, I guess I'm talking like data now too, hehe...but it does bring to mind, the crew of the enterprise must have had a bit of a bad influence on him, eh?

  • @25151206 lol

  • @planetary109

    He doesn't have adrenaline, though.

  • BEST LINE EVER :P lmao

  • I love the Disclaimer of the video :D

  • see this is why the ships fucking counselor doesn't drive the damn ship

  • @ralphy329 Even Picard himself would have crashed. You don't just shake off a warp core breach.

  • @Renji9031 yeah but they could have gotten an actual pilot which would have helped ease the landing

  • @ralphy329 Not even Tom Paris could land that ship under those circumstances.

  • This is my most favorite part of the whole! You know your screwed when Data starts swearing.

  • The moment when Data realizes that his Star Trek career is almost over.

  • i don't like the scene. I'm a trekkie and it may be cause i had taped star trek generations and seen it on tv more times than the movie itself, but the characters swearing doesn't work. in first contact they had that black chick as the "swear girl" and that was it

  • @jcamman99

you shouldn't let certain words have magic powers to make you uncomfortable.

  • Comment removed

  • @truebluecat357 then maybe you shouldn't try to give us trivia about it because if it's not accurate, you're going to get slammed from thousands of people telling you you're wrong and why.

  • I like the extras just clinging to the walls in the background. Yeah, like that's going to make a difference.

  • I forgot Data used swear words as a way to "be more human" in some of the Star Trek books (The Return comes into mind).

  • you know your screwed when the android starts cursing.

  • @gearsofhaloauto LMFAO!!!

  • SoulReaperRukia plus Star Trek = massive giggity spaz attack!

  • I rewached Generations today.

    My first reaction:

"OMFG what the hell is Tuvok doing there?"

  • @icewatercube No Troy was at the helm and she crashed it. This is the point where Data realises what's about to happen. Funny as hell.

  • @TheKiroshi The German translation of shit xD

  • Lol xD

In the German version he says "Scheiße"

  • @Miisunako11 ...

Oh and what does "Scheiße" Mean??

    wait let me guess..

  • Data in 2012!! :-D

  • Hahahaha I love Data!

  • That ranks right up there with that scene from that episode where Q makes him laugh uncontrollably. :D

  • The greatest moment in ST:TNG history xD

  • ooooh, shit! xDD love Data 8D

  • When me and my dad first say this we both cracked up. Hahaha.

  • LMFAO!!!!XD ROFL!!!!!!XD

  • this was my fav part of the film

  • My reaction whenever a new Teenie Star occurs...

  • That was the first time he ever swore.

  • Fuckin' hilarious. You would never expect to hear this from Data.

  • Hahaha
