  • Glocks always have horrible triggers.

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePress1000 I heard the reason the 17s are having problems is because they used the same spring as in the 22 and the 9mm ammo issn't quite strong enough depending on the ammo. You can get the replacement guide rod and spring for about $18 and it supposedly works perfectly. It needs to be the one engraved with 0 2 on the end that butts up against the barrel

  • i have the gen 4 22 and its my handgun of choice. saw some extreme torture tests and the glock is amazing 2 say the least!!

  • She nearly stove-piped the .40 by limp wristing it. In all honesty, I have done it before when I was new to shooting larger calibers. Guess what, people improve with experience so chill on the poor lady.

  • It's a glock. Of course it's boring. Reliable, but boring. Effective, but boring.

  • whta is the standard mag capacity on the glock 17?

  • @TheNERFDUDE97 Fail.

  • I am looking up all I can about this pistol, as I am waiting to take delivery of my very first handgun ever. I chose the Glock 17 gen 4 on the word of a friend when I asked for a simple weapon with extreme reliability and ultimate safety features for a first time learner.

Next step, is my safety course at the range and who knows how far I can go.

  • Too many people look at things such as the perfect grip, trigger control, etc. They loose sight of the fact that we should be cheering for each other because we are all Pro Gun. I think she did great and the focus should be on the fact that she is out there practicing. Good Job.

  • What a disappointment the gen 4 Glock turned out to be. Very bad reliability reputation. I had nothing but problems with mine. Finally gave up on it and sold it. Loved the gen 2 and gen 3 though.

  • LOOKS LIKE TO MUCH RECOIL

  • Good shooting.

  • Very nice

  • Do you notice any difference with the new recoil spring design for the 4th gen?

  • @TheMinnesotaNice

not really, but we didn't have the older type there to compare side by side

  • If I was working at such a range, I'd be concerned that someone would come in early before the other customers did and see all those nice, expensive guns laid out and then, at just the right moment, use one of the guns on me (as they'd then pick up the other guns and head down the road, with no one the wiser)!

  • @guyNbluejeans

Life inside your mind sounds demented .. you might want to get some help

  • @GunWebsites You insult me when you ought to thank me for being nice enough to give you a heads up so as to at least be prepared for a scenario that's within the realm of possibility. After all, don't you read the papers??

  • @GunWebsites guyNbluejeans has a legitimate concern, im not crazy about leaving my firearms on the safe line then walking down the 300 yards to change my target while anyone could just drive in and make off with my property, and i know many others at the clubs i have been to that have such a setup are also concerned and even resort to locking their guns back in their cars each time we go down range

  • "You are the first person to shoot this pistol"...she was also the first person to be disappointed with this pistol too.

  • @frei1furimmer

I have one and love it. The only thing I am disappointed with is the fact I cannot shoot it every day and I only have one. Though honestly the slide release is a bit of pain for my larger fingers but other than that I haven't seen any problems from the Gen 4. What exactly is there to be disappointed with? You can change the backstrap move the mag release for lefties and it has the double spring that used to only be in the subcompact model. It sells itself : )

  • the gen 4 is awesome sauce. new recoil spring and 3 mags to start with is FTW

  • MBS = Master Bullet Slinger

  • Ahh I cannot wait to pick mine up tomorrow.. I've been waiting 10 days.. Mine is the 3rd gen, kinda wishing I went with RTF2 but I didn't like the feel of it compared to the non RTF but I love the new serration design. O well I'm stoked either way.

  • they are still producing the 3rd gen right? cause ive heard some bad bad things about the 4th gen.....not only that i plan on putting a lone wolf barrel in, and i dont like the fact that the spring is larger, which causes the top to be inherently larger....i just dont really find it to be attractive...especially with the common occurance of malfunction when slightly limp wristed.

  • @fireball676 If you are going with your first glock go with the Gen 4 in my opinion. I have one and like it just as much if not more than my old Gen 3. The slide is the exact same size, the grip is slightly different but WAY better imo. If you were to buy a Gen 4 right now, it would most likely have the new double recoil spring in it, you can tell by the "2" stamped on it. If it doesnt, you simply call glock and they send you one in about a week. It fixes all the jamming problems you hear.

  • @HerdoRalden i also want to change the barrel...and im not sure if the recoil springs will be compatible with the barrels....i want it to be threaded

  • @fireball676 Again, this is just my opinion, I have really big hands and having the extra, large backstrap makes the gun much more comfortable to me.

  • Wow, whats with all the hate comments on this lady? Not everybody is amazing awesome super shooters like you guys. Perfect in every way, know the weapon inside and out. Chill out and let us non perfect people have fun.

  • i'm not knockin the GEN 4 GLOCK, Me personally i have a GEN 3 GLOCK 21C and will be buying a GLOCK 21SF soon but i'll wait till they make a GEN 4 GLOCK 21 otherwise i'll stick with my GEN 3. nice video

  • another sale out black bitch

  • @billholmes77

It's "SELL" not "sale". And please, spare us the racist comments.

  • Does the two spring setup reduce the recoil significantly? And is it just as dependable as the third gen Glock setup?

  • @NastyChuck

So far it looks like it, but it's only been out a few months...

  • @GunWebsites I am thinking of getting a grip reduction and the grooves on the front removed. Would you recommend a third or fourth generation model for that given that it will be for concealed carry, target shooting, and home defense.

  • @NastyChuck

    3rd

  • @GunWebsites Thanks for your input.

  • Totally unneccecary to buy the new Gen 4 if you alrealdy have G17 gen 3. It will last you a lifetime. Waste of cash!

  • @Hoshang2

And no one has cash to waste? no one is buying a pistol for the first time?

People buy for many reasons, it's no crime IMO for a company to offer a selection to those buyers

  • @GunWebsites for those new gunpeople, okej. But for veterans, no. Buy another brand or another Glockgun in some caliber that you dont have.

  • @Hoshang2 Thats not necessarily true. I mean granted a Glock will last you a life time more than likely. But they have made the Gen 4s a little more used friendly. We just recently got a Glock 22 Gen4 at my house. It has a double spring recoil rod better grip as far as Im concerned and adjustable backstraps. They mags also have groves on both sides so now the magazine release I believe can be switched from the right to the left.

  • @Hoshang2 Think before you talk.

  • @Hoshang2 But if you want to have all of the variations of a certain model it's worth it. I have my gen 1 Glock 19 that I was issued to me, a gen 2, the rtf2 and now the gen 4. I like the gen 4 because of the recoil is a little reduced, I like the grip on the rtf2 better because it doesn't slip. It's just personal preferences, only if you really want to spend the money.

  • On these particular makes there is no slide release. They are slide catches... Since you want to nitpick on the lady.

  • Your reviews are just fine; there seem to be alot of miserable haters on YouTube and it's one of the places they get to vent. Haters, go to the gym and work off some of that hate.

  • What is soo wrong with the glock grip? No need for a change, really...

  • I've had no issues with my "old'" glock. I see no need for a new grip.

  • @jewie27 stfu .!! r u some kind of handgun expert...??? or a ex marine?? who cares

  • Wow! You got alot of rude comments posted about this video!? I thought she did a great job! My girlfriend won't go near a gun :(

  • so how is the recoil? a lot better, a little better?

  • A bit less I guess, but we didn't shoot them side by side with older Glocks

  • what is '1911' is it any typa of pistol??

I have no idea about firearms {I mean don't have knowkedge about them} but I like them

  • @ rohan9621

    Good question

The 1911 is the name of the pistol created almost 100 years ago and used by our Army, etc almost all that time..

A very popular pistol, with so many pistols made by so many manufacturers that most people call pistols like it "1911 style"

  • @ CaptainPicardX

I was able to put one on hold today !!!

  • i want to own one of these NOW!

  • $529 seems to be the going rate. Surprisingly, gen4's were seen and sold at some retailers before the SHOT show. The big news is the new recoil spring. makes a 40 feel like a 9mm.

  • i guess glock had novvhere to go but the backstrap........i think i like a solid grip...less moving parts(sorta)...my old glocks fit my hands fine....one more thing to lose, breakvvear out.....never took to modular backstraps......the keep it simple stupid vvay...think thats vvhy i like glocks.....just pull the fkn thing out and pull the trigger...novv female cops vvill like glocks more.....Sigs vvere the female preferred.....in my dept anyvvay....vvebsite stomps 'nutr'

  • they are already being shipped I'm told

  • how much are these?

  • Probably around $500

  • I guess I was expecting more...noticeable, with all the build up to the release.

Its a one time bonus, when you have your size on, you will probably never change it - and loose the other straps.

I'd like single stack 9mm for a slimmer package, personally.

  • watch our other video, we were shooting the 9mm G17 while she was shooting the G22 in this vid

The G17 gen 4 is slimmer than a standard G17

  • @GunWebsites its always nice seeing your wife shooting, was cool when you were at the pink shooting class. Forget the name off hand. But cool seeing ladies shooting, glad you took her, when I get a chance this year I am heading to AZ to visit my sister in Messa and I'm hunting you down to go do some shooting lol. Keep the vids rollin.

  • I personally like SIG's and S&W's but the glock is OK in my opinion

the SIG P-229 in .357SIG is still better than most glocks that ive fired

  • NOT REALLY ! even if its brand new in the box, GLOCK fired a couple shots for the FBI FILES..

  • use the slide release girl !!! and keep those thumbs from dancing around....

  • learn how to shoot before you coach

  • i want to try one. glocks fit my hands fine and i'm kinda surprised they did this considering they sell so many pistols without it. maybe they'll sell more with this but i'll venture a guess that these will be a flop. oh ya and that was some pretty awful trigger control.

  • why do you butt plugs always argue on these videos in the comments STFU you puss bone anal beads

  • Can't we all just get along?

  • I have heard about significant problems with the new Gen 4 Glocks. They have changed the technology of the frame. It was a polymer and now it is a harder plastic material. The implication, is #1 a more felt recoil and #2 several of these glocks have cracked near the slide release.

  • if this is true then i would wait a few months after they come out and see what the mass report from people is.

  • @ZombieSlayer762 - Then I will Buy S&W same design cheaper price version. Hahahaaa!

  • ehh i never really liked the s&w's that much, they feel weird in my hand. i like the XD45 a lot better.

  • @ZombieSlayer762 - Yea, opposite to me. Glock feels like I am holding 2x4 in my hand. Everyone is deferent

  • heard from where, by who and from when?

They are barely out of the factory ..

  • @GunWebsites

what are the new mods on the 4th gen???

  • new modifications are: the new texture on grip,

    new reversible magazine catch,

(new magazines for left handed mag catch),

    new recoil spring,

and of course the new frame with three options for size of back strap

  • @GunWebsites

nice!! hey do u kno if they fixed the 45 glocks blowin up??? im scared to get anythin biger than a 9 cuz idw loose my hand lol

  • @DarkheartTheHeritic I have a glock 21 in .45 acp and it has never jammed or misfired at all I put over 4000 rounds in it and only had it for two years

  • @Hogkillerm14

    is it stock?

  • @DarkheartTheHeritic Its all original no modifications

  • @Hogkillerm14

    nice :)

    happy shooting

  • This past weekend (jan 23 10) at a local gun show. I was at a glock armorer's booth - very good one at that). A customer came up and wanted him to upgrade teh sights, trigger, slide lock etc. The Armorer suggested that the guy hold off abit - shot it as is. He said that they have had major issues. He personally saw 4 cracked. Strong recoil.

  • Was it just me or did it seem like she had alot more recoil on the smallest and the least amount of recoil on the largest?

  • Comment removed

  • Yes...I actually was shooting pre Obama you panic buyer. And the guns were all the exact same model...just different back straps dumbass.

  • Where did all that hate come from?

  • this dickhead is acting like I'm fucking clueless.

  • How is he suppose to know how knowledgeable you are?

A lot of people don't know much about guns. And the way you worded your first comment it did make you seem like a gun newbie. He wanted to inform you on something he thought you didn't know. Just because you happen to already know the information doesn't mean he's trying to insult you.

  • the point is that I was talking about the size of the backstraps. so his comment made no sense since they were all the same model. hence, weight wasn't a issue. Yes...i over reacted...but my question is still unawnsered.

  • gun fever ?

  • ha, flinching

  • What model is that?

Does all model come in fourth generation already?

  • @JoeDurobot

Probably the G17, the only two models that are being released at the moment are the 17 and the 22. Soon to be followed by all others.

  • That is the Glock 22 in .40 s&w Fourth Generation with the Modular Frame

  • i so dam love the glock ^^

  • I love her, the gun, and the 2nd amendment!
