I remember when I was younger I used to wait until nightfall, when all my friends had gone home, turn off all the lights and listen to songs like The River and Born to Run. Listening to those songs always filled me with that weird feeling you only get with good music. It's amazing to see Springsteen is still able to do that; I sometimes do that with this song, switch off all the lights, turn the CD player loud, and remember. Only a great can affect you like that.
