@TheWarDestroyer kinda true, but sometimes, there's no choice. The cast of characters in MvC2 are pretty unbalanced so that might be the reason. But I'm sure MvC3's cast will be more balanced.
all i gotta say is this was EPIC!! THis is why Marvel vs Capcom 2 is STILL played in tourtaments and why its called the greatest fighting game period! ANd I don't care I love Cable despite him being cheap. he's one of my personal favs in this game

@spikespeigle I thought Cammy's anit air assist was right up there. I know its good and a main reasons why she makes alot of teams even if u do not use her on point. I know she is considered mid tier but I love her and psylocke, while I'll admit is really good, I hate in this game. She can out prioritize you to death.
she's top tier from what i remember, i use her. she has great combos although they might be on the weak side but her psy-blade and kachou gakure hurts like a bitch when used properly

Yes the game is unbalanced, some such as magneto, storm etc have fucked up infinites BUT to master these combos is incredibly daunting and if you can you have earnt top tier play. Top tier vs top tier players is what MAKES it enjoyable, obviously a noob playing a pro shall be raped. As long as player skill levels are adequetely matched, as in this vid- you have an experience you cannot find in ANY OTHER FIGHTING GAME.
timing isn't strict but you won't be doing jack shit if your execution is horrible and you don't have good reaction time. Learn to wave dash and do real mixup like yipes or jwong and then say its not hard to learn.

Most people use psylocke for her anti-air assist. Apparently its one of, if not the best, anti-air assists in the game.

@spikespeigle I thought Cammy's anit air assist was right up there. I know its good and a main reasons why she makes alot of teams even if u do not use her on point. I know she is considered mid tier but I love her and psylocke, while I'll admit is really good, I hate in this game. She can out prioritize you to death.

she's top tier from what i remember, i use her. she has great combos although they might be on the weak side but her psy-blade and kachou gakure hurts like a bitch when used properly

Make myself feel better? I'm a high level player and invest my free time into video games, I help people excel and take their gameplay to the next level when I can, I create tutorials to help the scene and I have multiple players I've personally taken under my wing to give pointers. I have no reason to feed my ego to someone who knows jack shit about what they're making comments on. What's sad is thinking you know something you don't and arguing with someone who's been in the scene for 11 years.

There's matchup experience, footsies, character specifics, zoning, how to play defensively, running the clock, how to rush when to rush, paying attention to your opponents patterns / reading people. Everything's a leisure time activity until it's taken to the next level. And whats the last statement that it contradicts? Do you even have the slightest clue what the words you're using mean? I don't need a bigger ego when I can see how far I've taken a casual player from where they were to where they are. Bike riding was transportation before it was a sport, skateboarding was leisure before it got into the x games. Football was a fun thing to do before it went PRO.

I will tell you why it is one of the best fighting games of all time.
Yes the game is unbalanced, some such as magneto, storm etc have fucked up infinites BUT to master these combos is incredibly daunting and if you can you have earnt top tier play. Top tier vs top tier players is what MAKES it enjoyable, obviously a noob playing a pro shall be raped. As long as player skill levels are adequetely matched, as in this vid- you have an experience you cannot find in ANY OTHER FIGHTING GAME.

timing isn't strict but you won't be doing jack shit if your execution is horrible and you don't have good reaction time. Learn to wave dash and do real mixup like yipes or jwong and then say its not hard to learn.

Common scrub mentality, go look up Playing to Win by David Sirlin. Some people, like myself, aren't retarded like you, and can "hit buttons in a certain sequence" to win. By the way, hitting buttons in a certain sequence - is commonly referred to as skill.
Its like saying Michael Phelps has no physical ability, and he's just moving his muscles in a sequence.
