@copperhairbelle 'Yesu' for Jesus is not his real name correct . But only if you fully under stand this. I will be have to answer any of your questions
Names naturally change in translation. You can't ignore that. It's basic linguistics. My name in English is "Arthur." But Spanish people call me "Arturo." Why? Because names change in translation. In Hebrew, the name is Yashua. But when you translate this to Greek, which has no Y or J, it was translated to "Iesous." All this is, is the same name in different languages, not different names. You have been fooled by people who do not know languages and how they work.
@CRoadwarrior you did listen to the video there was no a J in the alphabet. his name is not Jesus they made it Jesus to change his name you do not get it! maybe if you prayed about it you would. I am not asking you to change your view I am just telling you the truth! history is facts.
@RubysTableTalk The "no J" argument does not work. There is no "o" in my name, yet Spanish people still call me "Arturo." I actually "get it" because unlike most people, I know both Hebrew and Greek, along with English. So I have a knowledge of how languages work. I don't need to pray about basic common knowledge from accurate knowledge. Look into the Septuagint and see how Yashua was translated to the EXACT same name as the Greek "Iesous" or English.
@RubysTableTalk And you do not have the ability to argue from a standpoint of having accurate knowledge of the languages. I know and understand that you THINK you have me facts which prove that "Jesus" is not His "real" name, but that whole argument is repleat with error due to ignorance in how languages and translation works. If you talk to Hebrew and Greek professors about this, they will tell you the same thing.
@RubysTableTalk I meant to say at the end of my last post "Look into the Septuagint and see how Yashua was translated to the EXACT same name as the Greek "Iesous" or "Jesus" in English.
@CRoadwarrior LOOK i ASK YOU TO LOOK THIS UP AND ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS ARGUE ! I DO NOT ARGUE AND I GAVE YOU THE FACTS I DO NOT CARE WHAT THE SEPTUAGINT SAYS IT IS NOT THE SAME NAME. MY FRIEND HAS STUDIED HEBREW FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND LOOKED THIS UP! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? PLEASE STOP ARUERING OR I WILL HAVE TO BLOCK YOU! I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!
@RubysTableTalk I know Hebrew as well, and I'm telling you he is wrong. And my Hebrew professor, who has been teaching Hebrew about 30 years, would tell you he's WRONG. So, your friend has a problem that apparently you do not care to investigate further. I'm not "arguing" but just trying to point something out to you that you apparently don't want to hear - truth. So block truth if you wish, but it still remains, and I will be making videos on this topic proving this truth.
@CRoadwarrior go ahead but make sure you look up the history of when the j was introduced and that Jesus was not his name to start with! or you will be make a false video!
@RubysTableTalk I actually know the points people make, and I know when the "J" was introduced. That still does not change the fact that names do change in translation, and that this does not prove that one name is "real" and the other false or fake. Just as my name is Arthur in English but Arturo in Spanish, so Yeshua's name is the Hebrew while Jesus is the Greek-English version of the SAME name and Person. So the whole argument is meaningless. That is what you miss.
@CRoadwarrior there is only so much you can put in a box and you still did not listen to the video! nor did you read the links or read the book. you just want to be right when you are not! I will not cave in when I know I am right when I have found the truth after praying and seeking the truth out! go find someone else that will argue with you it is not me!
um i dont mean to be rude but shouldn't your main focus be to tell people that the lord christ is the one and only savior.. that theres noting you can do to gain salvation but to accept Christ's free gift... that he died for the sins of man so that we can be made righteous before God and that if you repent of your sins and accept him you will gain Gods Grace and mercy. that if you confess with your mouth Christ is Lord you will be saved. have a blessed day
GOD IN HEBREW IS YEHOVAH YEHOVI .LORD IS ADONAI OR HASHEM. THE LORDS NAME IN HEBREW IS YEHOSHUA. IN GREEK ,THE LANGUAGE THAT GOD KNEW ALL LEARNED MEN WOULD SPEAK WHEN HIS CHRIST MESSIAH CAME INTO THE EARTH REALM , HIS NAME IS IESOUS. IN ENGLISH THE ,THE LANGUAGE GOD KNEW WOULD BE THE FIRST AFER LATIN THE BIBLE WOULD BE TRANSLETED INTO, HIS NAME IS JESUS
did you listen to all three parts and look in a 1611 Bible ? For Yesu is Hebrew , Iesus is Latin and Iesou is Greek . I do not argue over this or anything else I just put out the facts and allow you to make our own decisions.
Hear's a thought....you better know him as savior rather than worrying about his name. I call him Jesus, but more importantly, I call him Lord. That is ALL that matters, being born again. Keep that in mind.
You did not get it Lord is a title keep that in mind! You better know his name and know how to use it our you will get mowed down when the time comes! Get your religious self off my channel you have no understanding of that I just said or you do not want it!
@RubysTableTalk Romans 10:9-10 If we confess that Christ is Lord, then we are saved. You are so bound up in getting his name correct that you fail to see that it's in being born again that is all which is required for salvation. Or is there a new requirement for salvation now?
You can have all the fire insurance you want and you still will not make it! YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN OR YOU WILL NOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN! NOW I DO NOT ARGUE AND YOUR SPIRIT SMELLS KINDLY LEAVE OR I WILL HAVE TO BLOCK YOU GOOD DAY FREIND!
Contrary to popular belief, Iesous is His name. The "I" in Greek could and did have a "J" sound although many will say it didn't. Yahweh, Jehovah, and the 70+ guess names which come from the Tetragrammaton are FALSE names of God. They came in when Israel was banished to Babylon, where they then borrowed from the Aramaic language, and made up this Tetragrammaton. Jesus is His name, Jesus came in His Father's name...maybe a little more study on this would help you.
@Bimliorin Greek = Iesou,Latin =Iesu,Hebrew =Yesu, in all three you pronounce his name the same way! I will not argue with you you do not know what you are talking about. In this video I gave you all the material you need to find the truth if you choose to stay to be blind that is up to you. I have you the bread eat it or not up to you.
so i guess we need to say the sinners prayer over and use Yahshua? and not jesus?
