do everyone a favor and don't hammer things into boulders like shown on this film, unless it's some dumpy boulder that would otherwise never get visited for any reason...
because that's how exciting aid climbing is. this video is just offensive. aid climbers may find bouldering unnerving as it actually requires skill and, well, climbing ability.
And neither is sport climbing where clipping into: tightly spaced pre-placed protection such as bolts that were placed on rapel is the norm. The only people that can spray on about direct aid and be taken seriously are the guys and gals that free solo hard stuff....but those people generally don't judge others.
