I bought one of these in Sunburst with a maple fingerboard a week ago. This Thing is a beast, tonewise. Although I don't like the sound it gives you with a pick. But since I'm more the slap type of guy anyway, that's not so big of a deal for me. great deal!

I have found a G&L Tribue but its made in Japan.

I thought they were all made in Indonesia ?

I quess it wouldnt be any different than the Indonesian ones. But clearly has printed MIJ ?

Im getting it, i think Leo no matter what he made better than anybody.With the G&L he surpassed Fender again without really trying.

Man tune the strings higher when you do a review.You made the bass sound like crap & i know it sounds better than what you jst did.

I don't doubt this is a great-sounding bass, but Owen's playing style is really weak. He needs to turn up a bit or hit the strings harder.

@ 3.10 you mention that the EQ works when the active preamp is engaged. I own an L-2500 and even in passive mode, the bass & treble controls still work the same. Check it
