    thanks for leaving a comment. I have found AKC somewhat difficult to deal with regarding exercise modifications but I had judges tell me that they would be okay with my dog carrying or dragging her leash. Also, have you considered APDT rally? We compete in that too and I have found the judges very reasonable and helpful! I compete with my service dog and find it very helpful for teamwork plus we have fun! We also do agility which is even more fun! Good luck to you and your son!

  • Awesome! My son is a wheelchair user. I would like him to try Rally-O, but I'm not sure he would be able to physically execute Finish with the leash.
