at the monastery? ... if its that place, then use the vol umbra and the vol luminato glyph union to destroy the blocks wall and absorb the glyph. I hope this helps. (oh and sorry for my bad english)

I got Vol Umbra from the other room (black room with tons of traps) and then eqwuipped the glyph from the gold moosey things [vol luminatio] and then i used the glyph union (costs 50 hearts but owns - 299hp dmg to Albus) with fortios fio or something (the one that raises CON)

I agree though, so far this is the best boss!

BTW, I haven't beaten him yet, but this combo of glyphs got me the furthest!

i remember albus, he was a pain for me the first time as well, because i thought you needed to get all the medals to get the best ending, and all the glyphs which was a pain in the butt. then haviing to fight mister hehehehehe honing trusk (ball of electricity attack) ugh bad memories, but still great game
