I always used Photoshop CS. I have nothing else in my Laptop so I use every single tool in it to make my drawings, plus some old-school traditional-painting tricks (like mixing two colors with a transparent layer as if they were water colors). I doubt I could get better results with better tools, so I just focus on mastering Photoshop CS.
@jamescorck i see. but i dont understan vectors at all, i found a article on it on wikipedia, and all i managed to understand there was the pro and con section... not at all how they work.

@alek4ever91 I use a Wacom Bamboo Tablet. Drawing with the mouse is possible too, though. If you know how to use Vectors properly.
