I can't tell you how many times I sang this song to help me through the day. He's helped me with my songwriting (need to put up MORE, but hate to do it without him), and helped me when times were the hardest. He's a great man, a great artist, and my true Brother in Arms. Keep playing that guitar, that's going to be a useful skill set when you do get home and look for that non existent job. At least you can make some quick change on the street corner like so many of your fellow soldiers are right now. They wont care that you drove a tank, we don't need tank drivers, what do you know about IT or computer programing, and how many years have you worked at it, that's what they will ask you.

Wow this is an amazing song! My boyfriend is making his 2nd deployment in January but it will be our 1st deployment together. It is going to be very difficult on us both and I don't know if I will ever be fully prepared for it, but songs like this make me feel just that tiny bit better. I want to thank you for your service to this country, what y'all do is the most unselfish act any man could do whether people realize it or not. Your wife is a lucky women. God bless our troops.

Currently waiting for my husband to come home. He is scheduled to be home Tuesday but our due date was yesterday. And you know the military, dates always change. Thank you for fighting for our counrty. I'm currently disabled if i wasn't i would be doing the same as you. i'm keeping you in my prayers. Remember jesus will protect you all ways. I have a friend who was shot in the heart and he had an out of body exprience and saw God in iraq. God gave him a secound chance and said tell my believers not to have fear if one comes to the father after death and believes the ones they leave behind will be blessed. Tell that to believers fighting 4 us.
