I don't understand the part with the Project Far Cry file ...what does it mean? The whole experiment in the island is called Project Far Cry by those who created it, or is there something deeper?
Only thing that I thought that was bad about the end is that u play very much days, its a very big game with a great story (I spent some months playin far cry till this point) and u the end is such 30 seconds. That was pitty, but maybe this is because u played the end yourself

FarCry 2 is not a farcry game, the games are too different. They only called it 'FarCry 2' because it would sell better then starting a series with a new name.
No farcry game is better than the other. The first was about destroying everything in your path while playing through the extensive story, and have lots of fun. The second was all about the open world and exploring,and seemed alot less of a storyline based game.
Ive completed both Far Crys, the original just there now for the first time and I must admit it was much better than the 2nd. The 2nd didn't even have a story, you were just some mercenary who no one cared about playing piggy in the middle with paramilitaries, and in the end - *BOOM*, *DEAD*, *CREDITS* - wow, such an appealing story. Admittedly the open world theme was good and it was fun to run around causing havoc, but story-wise, nope.
It is sad that Far Cry 2 was really a whole new franchise. Nice game fun to play single player, multiplayer useless added just because. Far Cry 1 had a story hell they even mad a movie out of it, sure cheese movie but still a movie. Far Cry 2 is just about a gun runner. What sucked was the name franchise was use to sell it even thought it had nothing to do with it. I played thru the about half of the game and was so bored doing about the same thing again and again I could not finish the game.
@Kiljoy616 Exactly. I played Far Cry in the wrong order (I got FC2 first). After 3 levels I got so bored I had to delete it. Then, one year later, I thought OK I'll give FC1 a try. It was a breath of fresh air. The game is VERY fun. Especially the smart AI you can play around with. This game rocks! And graphics is still very good.
@419chris419 Halo 1 may have not been the best looking or game play but it was way better than Halo 2 but not as good as Halo 3. At least Halo 1 the story was fresh and new which is why it was such a great game. Graphically the games have gotten better but playing halo 1 was still way more fun just because it was so different from what had come before, I must have played Multi on and off for 5 years. I think I have played halo 3 maybe a dozen times on multiplayer.

The INNOCENT people that were dieing were the civilians and the children in Africa, NOT the soldiers.
They soldiers were either forced into battle when they were taken into the "bush" as a child by the rebels OR they just wanted to jump into the conflict. The soldiers aren't the ones we want to help (maybe the forced soldiers if they hadn't been fully brain washed by the rebels)

Because as far as I know, none of them were shown. It's all about the "cool explosions" and the killing between the two factions. Not much history was told in this game.

@ahcidkdfj Better AI no, everything else yes. Far Cry 2 is a fun game with really no story line, but I guess it was easier to do because of the open game play. Look at Crysis vs Crysis 2, same issue I felt in Crysis 2 I was playing Doom. WTF was all that bull about playing most of the game killing humans, that made absolutely no sense but hey its a game.

@stopflooding1 Yes u are right ubisoft published it BUT crytek used the cryengine and made Far cry.The sequel was made by ubisoft montreal using the Dunia Engine.Check wikipedia. As you can see at the side it says that the developer was crytek and the publisher was Ubisoft and it used the cryengine. ;)
