hey im trying to make a map that has checkpoints that people run to, with vehicles on certain parts. its really cool, and it goes all over forge world, but i don't know how to make the checkpoints work. does anyone know how to make checkpoints that do not require a vehicle, but can also be gotten when using one? thanks in advance!

I figured out how to change the game type label, when in forge mode you have to change the game mode to Race.

Ok, so Im having trouble with the spawning. I did what noxious did(Flag stand; advanced; game specifec: true; game type labe: flag_spawn) and yet, I still spawn in different areas on forge world. Oh and also, when I get to a checkpoint and die, I spawn at that checkpoint, but with no mongoose. Can Someone please help me out????

@CommunistWeasel97 I don't know, make sure the thing is on neutral or try making more or make sure you have mongooses in the radius. Just go to the default race mode for the checkpoint thing. I'm not sure so don't get mad if it doesn't work.

i made my map and put the flags down and the spawn but the spawn wont work all the settings are the same but i still spawn ramdomly all over the map do i need start spawn points or wat i would like to know but this was the best tut ever thumbs up thanks alot for the help get back to me as soon as posible please

i figured it out ... bungie didnt set up the tag for the checkpoints on any map except hemmorage, boneyard AND OTHER BIG MAPS ... didnt work cuz i was on powerhouse

@Farai117 Spawn one of each of the spawn point types, and then select the option to "delete all of these". Hereafter the spawnpoints you place will be functional and no others.

@98Ibad you can use a hill maker too; it doesnt matter which you use. i preffer hill marker because it is an arrow and it will show you in which direction the racer will be facing if they spawn on that checkpoint :D
