My wife sang this song in 1983 with her choir group. They were directed by Tom Fettke who went on to write and compose many christian musical works. We still have the casette tape and listen to it often. It is great to hear this song is still alive and well.

There are a lot of bad performances of this song on YouTube, but this is awesome! I am a choral teacher and I would like to do this with my group -- stomps, claps, and all! Did you just use the Mark Hayes arrangement? Do you have the stomps/claps written out somewhere?
Oh, I almost forgot, for the man doing the solo, I promise you sir, you need to pursue a solo career in singing music you write. I'm telling you, one day I will turn on the radio and hear your voice on there. Your voice is very beautiful, and many people agree. It's simply magnificent.
My middle school choir is doing this song for some alabama choir conference thingy. I forget the name of it, but its supposed to be a huge honor because we were the only middle school to be invited. Like, it isn't until April and we've already learned 6 songs for it. I so can't wait. I love this song and you guys absolutely nailed it! Now everytime someone leaves the choir door open we yell "Shut de do!"

This selection was so enlightening and full of energy that the entire audience attending this concert gave up the applause like crazy. This group is better than awesome. One must attend their performance live to experience their true talents and love of music. They are "off the chain". You can't help but to love them all. Magnifico!!!!!!
