guess some (or many) people dont like inuyasha because he is mad all the time and rude. but, most people watch anime. and the anime people made inuyasha stupid. example; in the cave with midoriko.

sango and the miroku explained what the shikon no tama was.

inuyasha was like. whatever im going to be a demon anyways

and was banned out of the cave by midoriko.

while in the manga he vowed to destroy naraku and bring the shikon no tama together again.

they like to add or cut things or make chars stupid in the anime

thats why my advise is read manga first watch anime later.

and then compare them.
