my jindo mix does that all the time. His little (well not so little) paws start twitching, sometimes he kinds of barks in his sleep. It's really cute. However clearly I am obsessed with border collies because i'm on your video and not a video of a jindo.

I remember one time where I woke my Border up from a pretty crazy dream. He was yipping like mad and his paws were frantically scratching at the carpet.

It took him a long time to come out of dreamland. I was rubbing his shoulder to wake him up, and he reflexively snapped at my hand with his eyes completely closed.

Finally, he opened his eyes and saw that it was me beside him, and calmed down.

Must have been one crazy nightmare. Poor guy.

She does look a bit like she's having a siezure but you'll never tell for sure from a video. If she woke up find its ok :) I hope she is ok.

Just be aware when she does it, check her heart rate and breathing.

I'm not sure if the dog is dreaming or not. Once our dog started doing that and I couldn't wake him up. Then he went to the vet and they said he'd been having seizures.

Though what's with the jerking of the paws and head in dreams? How can you tell if your dog is having a seizure or just dreaming deeply?

actually dogs do that when they are sleeping. My dog's been doing it all his life and he is also a border collie and is 15. So he's been living pretty long if he's been having seziures all his life. I mean REALLY?
