the box its just loose.. the staples that hold the cardboard, wood got loosen, therefore noise comes up...
Solution get real HEAVY DUTY boxsprings... tempurpedic sells cheap box foundations... not boxsprings.. and for their heavy mattresses they need to give heavy duty boxes.. but they dont cuz they are cheap bastards
Thanks for the info. We are tall Texans, so we are not over weight, just getting old though. Looking for pain relief and comfort after surgery. But I worry that the humid Houston weather will make us sweat in this bed. All the salemen say that doesn't happen anymore. Sure hope not. : )
I am 6'7" but a friend who is 5'8" & 280lbs found it hard to move atround. Tempur replaced the box but it is starting to squeak again. We were told that the materials in the box were changed on the later models but I am not convinced. Good bed sorry about Houston. we are in So Cal. It gets hot but not humid here. We like the bed and love it when we come home from a trip sleeping on hotel mattreses. Good Luck.
Hi, We are looking into buying a tempur-pedic. I get up to use the ladies room during the night. Will it make that sound? Does it squeak when you move around in the bed when you are sleeping or other activities? Sure like to know
