hahah uhm, no. no misstep on the burnout. you spin them just a little to get the whole tire a little wet and continue out of the water box, engage line lock-burnout. and being that he's in the super street class i would say that was a low 11sec run.
Ha. No problem. I should have realized that it was a driver preference. I've been around this enough to know. You see, I have a Camaro that turns 10.80's in the 1/4 mile. So you are speaking my language when you talk about line locks, etc.
My preference is to roll to the top of the water box, set the brakes, turn on the line lock and let 'er rip when given the signal. The car should turn a 10.7x the first trip to the track this year. We'll see how it goes.
yeah its cool. just looks like this water box isn't....eh, very good. hahaha. or well maintained. it should be only about 3feet from start to finish, and just wide enough for both tires. it doesn't look like they have anything to help get rid of any water dragged forward either. well you know how a good waterbox looks.... lol
Actually I ran a 10.80 on this pass, a little to quick for S/ST but we were testing. The waterbox is actually very good at this track, there is a grated drain for the excess. What a fun car to drive.
that car is an orgasm!!

A little misstep on the burnout. Looked like a decent run. Where's the zoom on the camera? I wanted to see an ET. :(
