  • already got it but i'm w8ting for the nuendo 5:)

  • ok ok, but I would like to see the new effects they bundle with this big bastard, Im still doing fine with cubase SE :D

  • ive made some music on cubase5 but how do i turn it into a mp3 track so if i want to listen to it i can just open it in winamp or give the song to a freind ? can you please help me

  • I think fruity loops needs to change there name there some HUGE bias towards FL if you play a track don't tell 'em what you made it in if fact, if you can don't even say YOU made it just see what they think of the sound itself. Sometimes the hater kicks in some people and they look for dumb reasons to talk shit, everyone's a critic.

  • can u sample songs in cubase???

  • ugh, vista.....

  • not convinced think ill stick with the daddy........REASON 4 YEA

  • @DrRaker :D i use Reason 4 rewire with Cubase 5 .. I love Reason :D

  • HOL up did he just say "exchange project with other DAWs" well i be damn, that means i can take the projects i was working on in fl studio and work on cubase?? Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u can even dump fl tracks back to cubase

  • IMA noob, i still haven't figured out this program, im pissed that the manual doesn't tell u shit.

  • Yeah the manual was crap wasnt it?

  • @rODIUMuk, if you're talking about the Cubase 5 manual, you're right. It wasn't the best. Luckily, my best friend knew his way around, it which helped me out a lot.

  • I think it's like Garageband, If you've tried that before, but Even Garageband has its complications...

  • @TRANCEGENERATORSFTW:

    No worriez, tutorials help ;-)

  • I'm using nuendo 2 (Basically SX2). Now is it worth getting this or am I better off with what I have? Nuendo 2 was released back in 2003

  • move to cubase 5...

its always good to update ur work enviourment...

it might be mentally hard sometimes cuz ur use to work with ur own stuff and it might require some learning but all in all its worth it , and it'll take much less time then you'd think...

  • This looks greath. But how is the internal routing in this version? I'll like to use side chaining without the need of a third party plugin. Have the shortcuts, and the ability to change slots for inserts improved since C3?

  • I worked in Logic for 13 years, now I bought Cubase and Im amazed;)

  • whats more popular logic or cubase? plz write back to this comment.

  • cubase from what ive seen

  • They are very similar and they each hold their own. Logic is Mac only while Cubase is PC and MAC. There are a lot more vsti's out there for PC and cheaper. I have both in my studio including pro tools but use Cubase 75% due to its midi capability. Logic is also very good when it comes to midi but most of my producers like cubase. Hope that helps.

  • im scared to use this :(, as I thought logic was more used in industry ? I need to know

  • Cubase is very easy to use and thats why there are 4 times more cubase users than logic. Logic was the leader in the 90's but once apple bought them everyone is moving away from logic because most emagic/logic employees have left apple and apple has no experience in audio. Pc being so cheap in price and the power of new i7 you can't go wrong with pc DAW.

  • Who cares what someone uses and what is the "standard"cubase was around way before logic. And yes logic is nice and comes bundled with sick ass plugins. But cubase is also a industry standard. But c'mon i know some of the biggest producers who do everynthing on fruityloops.. So just get what suits YOU not what suits the people around you...;) peaz

  • Woot!! Go Fruityloops!! :P

  • Chanel batch must be very cewl. And handy. :) . Wow that sample editor. Is theire also a essential version coming of version 5 of cubase

  • Channel batch export is anough of a reason to buy cubase5! I'm still using SX2 and I hate the fact that SX2 only sees 1 core of my quadcore AMD 9950BE. The days of manually exporting all 40+ stereo tracks are finally gone! This would be the first time I've gotten Cubase legally, although I still think that £500 is too expensive for most people especially students. Now what I need is a program that will go through all my samples and set them to 48khz 24bit automatically :)

  • Yieppiee endlich Batch Export.....

  • Blah, its just a copy of Sonar 8 new features, lol...

  • damn just a month after I got cubase 4 this comes out.... xD

  • you will be able to upgrade for free.

  • @veggy93 you will get cubase 5 at a cheaper price ,as a upgrade to cubase 4 thou ,i know its still a shitter but least you will get it cheaper when you do have to upgrade !!!!

  • Cool I'm gonna buy it as soon as possible.
