That was definitely the best Flyers' team that I have seen since I started watching hockey in the mid-90's. They had the talent to go all the way and, if not for the injuries they suffered during the playoff run, they may have. Had the lockout not happened, I think they would have won a Cup. But the past is the past, I guess.

This was a great season for the Flyers but a disappointing one at the same time because they lost in 7 games to the Lightning....a series that they could have won but didn't have the fortune of being healthy enough for it with Desjardins (their best D-man) out, Johnsson with a fractured wrist, and Kappanen forced to play D instead of forward. If Desjardin was healthy and available the Flyers special teams would have performed much better, which wasone of the main reasons why they lost.

I'm a Leaf fan but I have to admit, they Leafs didn't deserve to win this. They were awful defensively on most nights and would not have won any games if it wasn't for Belfour.

I think the game before this one they lost something like 7-1.

it was about 1 minute before this goal, and if kapanen laid on the ice like a bitch (mike ribiero) it never would have happened, but he showed tremendous heart fell like 3 times getting to the bench, and kept the play going and the rest is history.
