It will be a sad day indeed for Aussie Rock when these guys play their last gig before disbanding, but all I can say is thanks to Powderfinger for one hell of a ride we have enjoyed it & thank you for the legacy of works you leave behind.

@derchief Hey, I'm an Indian. I have a friend from Ballarat, Australia who was over for a student exchange trip last year and we shared similar music tastes so we both gave each other a lot of music. And a part of what I received was 5 Powderfinger albums. And since then they've been one of my favourite bands. I've somehow failed to understand why they haven't made it big internationally when other Aussie bands like AC/DC are among the biggest in the world.

@udayvirgarg22 Don't know if you heard, but last week they announced they are breaking up after their Fall tour of Australia. So if you're in London next week, catch them at Shepherd's Bush Empire, it will be your only chance. I'm really bummed out about this, but commend a band that knows the right time to step away.
