Makes a change for a US record to be a cover of an English song. Its usually the other way around NOEL COWARD was the composer nice version.

Yes, those Vivatonal Columbias really are special. Viewers may be surprized to know that Noel Coward wrote this song.

I'm not surprised. This song has that British air and Noel's signature. He might as well be singing! Thank you Merrihew for that great bit of trivia and for the Elmer Patrick posted today 11/7/08. I know I always bother YOU! :-)

@merrihew It does have certain Noel Coward phrasings though. Reminds me a bit of his "I'll See You Again" from Bittersweet. This wicked old boring world needs more music like this!
