  • I had been doing ab crunches like for a half hour straight non stop, and not gettimg results. I changed my method and i do this now. I have seen more results in the last week since ive been doin this for 15 mins as opposed to half a year doin it the wrong way. This dude is real helpful

    the Q is: when I left my leg, how much should I do?

    can I do 100 with each time I left a leg?

    It really has more to do with keeping the lower back on the floor and the pelvis toward the ceiling. Just to keep things even, and of course, the abs tilt slightly so you want to do everything you can to have a balanced physique, do the same amount of reps on each side.

  • Vic, you are the best trainer I have seen on youtube. I have incorporated into my own training, and I have definitely benefitted from it. I used to be that guy who thought only heavy weights built muscle. But then came the injuries. Wasn't long before I saw your lessons on here that I changed my training.     i may be able to do a 100 reps the 1st att but the next is a lot less. do u put pressure on the leg left on the floor? the hip flex do u start at the same time u raise ur shoulders ? *****

    Certainly you can do more on the first set- that's the pre-exhaust, same for me- That's the beauty of it- how good does that second set feel? Not really doing anything with pressure- by lifting leg, back goes into floor naturally. Vic

  • yea, for ex. if u do 10 crunchs with ur right leg up, switch to ur left leg and do 10, so they're nice and even.

  • how often can one train calves? same as abs, every other day?

  • It's the same for all muscle groups, they need rest, try to get 48 hours of rest at least until you do that muscle again.

  • very interesting and relevant perspective, you usually dont hear his perspective from the usual sources (mags, etc)

  • is this the only exercise u do vic? and doing them everyother day wud be over training them and not giving them enough time to rebuild??
