@alexniver88 No. I think to edit patches via MIDI then you need to use MIDI ports on Zoom G9.2tt. The USB on Zoom G9.2tt is for digital audio recording.
@shammock112 Sorry, shammock112, I don't have a B9.1ut. What is the fault. Does the software run at all? What is the error?. Ttry running from command line e.g : Start cmd cd C:\temp\G9RPGwin64\G9RPGwin64 REM run from the command line and check error given java -jar G9RPG.jar
@BethYeshuaMacon Ah, so you have a problem with Zoom Library software (not my patch generator). When you start the Zoom B9.1ut Editor Librarian software on 64 bit can you select your MIDI IN/OUT OK and set pedal online? : Select MIDI >"MIDI IN" e.g. SB Audigy MIDI IO Select MIDI > "MIDI OUT" e.g. SB Audigy MIDI IO Switch B9.1 ut the online state by clicking the "On Line" button so that it appears lit.
The audio quality in this video makes not want to take you seriously about anything you say about an audio product. Your voice is so low it can't be heard, then you have feedback and guitar sounds that practically blow my speakers and cause me to go deaf. Since you work with audio equipment maybe you could fix this...
So you recorded it with the Cubase LE 4 that comes bundled? Do you know if that software works on Windows 7 64bit? I'm looking forward to buy this effects processor and your information would be very handy. :)
@krivatakirka No, I recorded the sound and video together using Camstudio 2.0. The microphone and G9.2tt guitar were plugged into a mixer and then into the computer line In.

@blacksabbathgnr098 Hi, see my "Running the G9.2tt Editor Librarian (G9ED)" instructions at the bottom of the page where the G9RPG program can be downloaded. You need a USB MIDI Cable. There is a G9.2tt Editor Librarian Operation Manual on the Zoom website.

please help me.. how can i transfer the patches in g9.2tt??? when i try to press send all and do the steps, after i press Excute it says "device INquiry Timedout' pls help me...............
@istratokaster See manual (E_G92tt.pdf) : Cannot send or receive MIDI messages • Make sure that the MIDI IN connector of the G9.2tt and the MIDI OUT connector of the other MIDI device, and the MIDI OUT connector of the G9.2tt and the MIDI IN connector of the other MIDI device are connected properly. • Check the MIDI channel setting (→p.43). • Check whether send/receive of the respective type of MIDI message is enabled (→p. 44, 47). If still not working then buy a new USB MIDI Cable !
The G9.2tt sends and receives patch information via MIDI. Therefore, youll need a MIDI interface connected to your computer.
I use Windows XP, a old Sound Blaster Audigy PCI card with a Joystick/MIDI bracket, and to use a game port with MIDI instruments, one requires a cable with a male and a female DA-15 and two male 5-pin DIN connectors.
Apparently Microsoft's Vista operating system natively lacks all game port support. For Vista or Windows 7 try searching amazon for "USB MIDI Cable"
@Dfraz96 It seems not all of the cheap generic USB MIDI Cables work very well, but I have read good reports of a €30 midi cable named MIDIMATE II and an M-Audio Uno 1x1 USB-Midi cable.
@Dfraz96 Correction - I have tried a cheap (£1 GBP) generic USB MIDI Cable and it works fine in Vista. I got it on ebay from China. It was listed as "USB to MIDI keyboard PC Interface Converter Cable Vista". It has transparent cable so you can see the silver wire inside. There is a black plastic box half way along the cable marked "MIDI USB" with a treble clef logo and red, yellow and green LEDs for MIDI IN and OUT.
Hi rdt78, yes, if set up right pasting the patch from the generator to the editor also transfers it from the PC to the zoom.
To set up: Plug MIDI interface IN cable to OUT socket and vice versa * power on G9.2tt *[Start] [All Programs] → [ZOOM] → [G9ED] → [G9.2tt Editor Librarian]. * Select MIDI >"MIDI IN" e.g. SB Audigy MIDI IO * Select MIDI > "MIDI OUT" e.g. SB Audigy MIDI IO * Switch G9ED to the online state by clicking the "On Line" button so that it appears lit.
thanks...my friend.... i will try to set it.... it seems hard .... i don t like the distortions from zoom....because too much noise.... with gain high up...
Hi rstudio11, Plug MIDI interface IN cable to OUT socket and vice versa * power on G9.2tt *[Start] [All Programs] → [ZOOM] → [G9ED] → [G9.2tt Editor Librarian]. * Select MIDI >"MIDI IN" e.g. SB Audigy MIDI IO * Select MIDI > "MIDI OUT" e.g. SB Audigy MIDI IO * Switch G9ED to the online state by clicking the "On Line" button so that it appears lit. Do you have regrets buying Zoom G9.2tt. I am stuck between this or Line6 Pod X3 live. Most of the reviews I have read saying that Zoom G9.2tt distortion effects are insufficient and artificial comparing to POD X3 live. Have you had a chance to compare them? Great demonstration by the way :)
I did try some PODs but I was looking for something with real valves as well as distortion effects. I also liked the simple patch format the editor used so I could cut and paste patches on the clipboard (and write software to put a generated patch on the clipboard).
I hope you find what you are looking for, cakire82 !
u probably got mixed up. it should be the other way round.
1st: the zoom g9 is powered by 2 12ax7 tubes. these are used to enhance the sound that's created by the digital effects to make it as realistic to the real thing as possible. bear in mind that u'll never be able to sound exactly the same as the real stuff.

@MrTerru Hi MrTerru,
still works for me:
I went to the "Downloading and Installing" link and clicked on G9RPG.zip, saved the file.
In Explorer right click on G9RPG.zip, extract all, extract, open G9RPG folder, it contains:
G9RPG.jar, two other swt files. I have previously installed java, so I can double click on G9RPG.jar and
the "Zoom Random Patch Generator" appears.

The only thing i could say to you Bro. is that the g9's distortion effects are more realistic than the POD's, and that is a fact.
To connect the POd to you PC u'll need a USB cable, for the G9 u'll need a special one (MIDI) plus USB - around 50 US dls.
