ive had my 2nd gen ms3 for over a year now and i can say with the utmost confidence that this is by far and away the best handling fwd car ive ever driven..

I remember whilst researching the car, the smile stunned me at first (i pretty much didn't like it too much, thinking the past design looked only better because of it.).

Not only did it grow on me in time, but seeing the car in person takes all my doubts away.

If you are iffy about how it looks, check it out in person. It's sexy inside and out (especially inside). I didn't like the red design on the seats, but in person, I more or less like it.

Just to note... I recently moved to Colorado. I used to drive my 1st gen WRX in the canyons here. Now I drive the 2nd gen MS3 here. (First, No I have not driven a 3rd gen WRX.) BUT, the MS# will smoke any 1st or 2nd gen (whatever you consider that) WRX in the twisties... and It'll smoke ducati's in the mountain...I know I've done it... the guy riding the duc, I was on his ass the entire time in the turns. ;)

BTW, I have YET to see a 2nd gen MS3 in denver, so talk about a head turner, everybody has a comment to me ;) Maybe because Denver is all WRX with the AWD.

don't get me wrong, i'm a big Mazda fan, i had a mazda 6, premacy, 626 en now a Xedos 9... but i really don't like that smile on this MPS... i would put another front bumper on it, hope they make a bodykit a.s.a.p cuz everthingelse about this car is awesome... aftheri bought this one, i would tune it to 400HP and beat the crap out of other hatchbacks... this MPS rulez

1st gen ms3 got 8:39 at nurburgring which is good. I would bet my money that the 2010 ms3 will cut that time to at least 8:25 due to huge improvement in the suspension system, wider tires, and stiffer chassis. 2010 ms3 is the king ZOOM ZOOM

Front end is ugly and also, the lines look weird from the side view. It looks like a Japanese toy car rather than a serious performance tuner. Too bad Mazda had to fuck with such a cool car. I'm glad I drive an '08 model. Wish they had better colors like a deep blue like the Subaru's. Does this model have keyless push start? Front end looks like a happy frog!

Yep...the 2010 is an ugly car. The only people who seem to like it are too young to afford it. The 2008 was clean and understated.

I can afford it and I like it, although mine is black so that you can't see the smile lmao. There will be a better sport bumper available soon so who cares anyway? No one sees their front end while driving.

I'm 35, just bought one. Reasons I bought it:

- 2010 MS3 is quieter than 2009 (less exhaust noise inside the car)

- smiley grows on you

- has attachments for roof rack, negotiated for free when bought car, made by thule, has wind deflectors

- price is ~3K cheaper than WRX (dont need AWD)

- Bluetooth to my phone, works great!

- shifter is smooth and clutch is the best I've driven.

-Stock radio better than WRX, important for me.

- Pearled red color. gorgeous, love it.
