@Razer1103 you CAN built such "boosters" in official minecraft without using any mods. try out the TNT boosters, they have same effect and will do the same as piston mod with right timing only even better! they can be customised in order to pull you in the air between 20 and about 200 blocks - which is obvously more than world height.

People, this was the piston mod from before vanilla pistons came out. They would shoot the player or blocks away when powered. There is NO way to get them in any mine craft after 1.7 :(
