@dogsrsocule What good would an invisible plane do you if you can't find it, read the altimeter, angle of attack indicator (angle in relation to the ground), compass, air speed indicator, fuel gage or any of the rest of the instruments?
@hydrolito Since we're operating on the basis of fiction, it sorta seems likely that the invisible plane would only be invisible to others...or that it wouldn't truly be invisible. It would simply be more of a...camouflage type deal like in the one James Bond movie, where light was bent and manipulated so that it 'looked' like it was invisible.
