everyone: this is a great device, it has like 7 things in one thing! and it's more useful from a PSP so it's better than the original PSP. I said before about the games, it comes in a disc with the device. if you don't have that disc you can look over the net for NES games (NES as extension), they used to be Nentendo player games. if you don't like how this device look that doesn't matter. it still a great device..no need to discuss the shape.. the device also has TV in.

@HelmetLawSux if the battery is over-charged several times it will be ruined and the PMP won't turn on again, if the PMP is connected to a device (T.V, Radio, DVD) which is not designed to allow a safe connection with it, then the screen will be ruined, and if the microphone were used to record a very loud noise it will be ruined. so I think there is an explanation to what happend to those 3 PMP's, and it's not that the PMP is bad.

I have one but when I press the power button, all i get is some kind of loading screen that looks like the default wallpaper for Windows XP, with a chinese logo in the corner. Connecting it by USB does nothing.
there should be a manual with it when you buy it. after you turn it on, the screen display will hold a picture for 15 seconds and then you can start using it. connecting the usb will not do anything, just makes it stops functioning. you should go to -Tools, USB, click on it and then connect the usb cable to the computer.

there are a lot of games in english, they're all 1000 games so you can easily find the same game in both languages ...you can use it for a lot of thing ... I watch movies when i'm in a bus, i record from t.v when i'm busy studying, I copy movies to it and watch them on the big t.v screen. I even use the camera once in a while.I put e-books in it instead of buying a novel that I will only use once

the files it plays are mp4 files and avi, you need a video converter that will convert your video to mp4. I recommend youtube downloader 'coz you can download a video from youtube and convert it to mp4 once you'de downloaded it

battery life is a good point: up to 7 hours, videos, games, audio.
it supports only ASf video format, and the camera produces ASF videos 2, 3gp is not supported it's too small for that big 3 inches screen. there is a flash camera. it's more useful than the japanese PSP, it's display quality is great. stop saying things you are not sure of, just ask me, I have one right now.
the bad part of this product is the fake"blitz" situated near the cam.. i don`t know why did they put it there..i think just for the image but it`s really cool..and you can watch your movies on the tv.. selecting tv menu.. ntsc,pal or lcd screen mode..elias_deneandertal for more info

about the games: when you buy this product you connect it to a pc, you find in it 4 folders: MP3 & TXT & DCIM & GAMES. If you didn't find them, make format using the PC

it reads txt files, the camera is very good 3.0 mega pixel and not 2.0 , I bought an SD memory card for it , and I use it to record classes in university and I listen to radio, I record from TV also, it has a previously timed record, I think it's better than the psp! because if we put the games aside, this MP5 player is much more useful than an PSP.
You have to set the movie you are playing to be output to pal or ntsc from the players menu. also i cant find out how to lower the game sound. the slide screen version probably can though.
in addition to everything bad ive said for this crap, because, as i said - I HAVE ONE - the audio quality of the mp3 files is CRAP. also, the player freezes from time to time. the buttons are CRAP, and there is no button to regulate the level of the sound, which is...CRAP. stay AWAY from this piece of shit! seriously
By the way, you can play LOADS of classic games like Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and 3, Zelda, Mega Man, Yoshi's Cookie, Yoshi and More! Highly reccomended.
This is a great handheld. You'll see pop up on ebay supposedly by "Sony". It never is, but the camera in it, video player, music player and best of all, NES game player are AWESOME. Shame the chinese has such bad English and Video-making skills (WELL, THE ONES WHO MADE THIS!!!!)

Agreed. I am a mp3head, and I used to go crazy with every single mp3 that just came out. But I have bought a chinese crap player and I gotta admit it pissed me off more than anything, It only worked for 30 minutes, it was a weird audio jack that was 5x smaller than the regular and the headphones aren't even worth mentioning. So with this experience I never went back to these mp3s and decided that name brand mp3 players although maybe more expensive it doesn't give you the grief that you wasted $

Yes I understand what you are saying, but for people that can't afford ipods or don't think it is worth all that money at least thay can buy something for less, and watch videos and listen to music too. That's why it is always good to have chinese technology around, they may not get the hype that ipods and other branded stuff has but atleast there are things for all kinds of people and all kinds of wallets.

i have a blackberry knockoff from china. yes, it's cheap. some of the problems with chinese manufactured items:
camera - cheap quality, it might say so and so pixels (7mega, on mine) but the result is horrible . in reality, it is 1 or 2 mp
battery life - i have to charge my phone every 8 hours. horrible
buttons - fade or stop working
processor - freezes, have to restart.
pro: cheap price, good to show off. thats about it

The Camera Quality is good just like a digicam..

about the games: when you buy this product you connect it to a pc, you find in it 4 folders: MP3 & TXT & DCIM & GAMES. If you didn't find them, make format using the PC
copy the games from the games disc directly into GAMe folder.

id like one of these players that can record from the FM radio in full cd quality stereo direct to mp3 files, ppl think radio sounds lo fi but it does sound near CD quality why not record in it 128kbps 44,100 stereo mp3 is fine for radio recording anything higher and your just wasting space

I have one,I use it instead of DVD, i screen videos and pictures to the TV.
it reads txt files, the camera is very good 3.0 mega pixel and not 2.0 , I bought an SD memory card for it , and I use it to record classes in university and I listen to radio, I record from TV also, it has a previously timed record, I think it's better than the psp! because if we put the games aside, this MP5 player is much more useful than an PSP.

You have to set the movie you are playing to be output to pal or ntsc from the players menu. also i cant find out how to lower the game sound. the slide screen version probably can though.

Agreed. I am a mp3head, and I used to go crazy with every single mp3 that just came out. But I have bought a chinese crap player and I gotta admit it pissed me off more than anything, It only worked for 30 minutes, it was a weird audio jack that was 5x smaller than the regular and the headphones aren't even worth mentioning. So with this experience I never went back to these mp3s and decided that name brand mp3 players although maybe more expensive it doesn't give you the grief that you wasted $

Yes I understand what you are saying, but for people that can't afford ipods or don't think it is worth all that money at least thay can buy something for less, and watch videos and listen to music too. That's why it is always good to have chinese technology around, they may not get the hype that ipods and other branded stuff has but atleast there are things for all kinds of people and all kinds of wallets.

I have an iPod now, but for a while I was pretty broke so I appreciated stuff like this, since it's all I could afford.
Now I got a better income I can afford better things, but I would never call stuff like this crap. Since there was a time when I needed it.
For the record: The chinese mp3 player I had still works good! The only downside to these types of players, imo, is the poor battery life (be lucky to get 3 continuous hours out of it).
