I liked the movie, David (The Step Father) Creeped me out but yeah it reminded me alot of Disturbia.

I just finished watching this movie...And I'm dissapointed---i didn't go to the theaters to watch it b/c I always have a gut feeling of certain films I would regret paying for...So many holes in this....

Could've been better---The music and the camera angles at times were really fascinating....Even alluding to other films like Psycho, Obsessed and the plot train similar to Disturbia was interesting...(I know this is a remake!---don't remind me, just saying...)

BUt yeah; okay for fun..not

who ever said this movie is bad, they probably didnt watch it. this movie was packed with suspense. and also waaaaaay different than disturbia. the trailer just makes it seem like disturbia but its not. its actually better in my opinion. even though it was revealing, it was still thrilling. i give it a 7 out of 10. if your reading this, dont watch the video any further because he will spoil it for you.

I saw this movie thanks to netflix I agree with most everything that you said I also love dylan walsh think he's a great actor looked like he had a blast filming this. I have to disagree about the ending the filter song remake at the end made me love it and I plan on buying this dvd as well. Great reveiw by the way. :)

I saw it opening day, walked out dissapointed. But lately i have been thinking about it lately, and i think i kind of like it. I am not completely sure why.

I will probably buy the director's cut to see what gets added in. It comes out on february 9th.

@Lewisiom every year we have a movie like this and prom night the fog.. one remake pg-13 that was effective for me was When a stranger calls..i thought the suspence was way better sure it has the normal ingredients of pg-13 maintream movie but it was one of the very few pg-13 thrillers that worked for me. this is up there with prom night. but a tiny bit better not much much. terry is a better stepfather.

has anyone noticed that disturbrbia was riped off the simpsons. When they get a pool and bart falls off the tree house and breaks his arm. he spys on ned and thinks he killed his wife. Anyone else agree or know what im talking about.

well actually. Disturbia is a new version of "Rear Window", which is an old Alfred Hitchcock movie. The episode of the Simpsons that you are referring to was a parody of "Rear Window"

the trailer kind of ruins the whole movie...I watched it and thought: "I knew all this from the trailer, I just wasted ten bucks"

and ya, it wasn't very suspenseful...just caught to the chase
