  • An amazing game with an absolutely amazing intro.

  • a classic kick arse game!!!! BRING BACK THE AMIGA!!!!!

  • 3.20+ = musical bliss!

  • All respect must go to Team 17 they are still at ! 20 + years and the uk's largest indepdent games maker.

I recommend trying the new versions of the game they feel essetially the same just bigger and in 3D

  • amiga awsomeness!!

  • I have this game in mint condition lying on my shelf :)

  • I love the line "One Meg Of Memory Required"..

Hehehehe, One meg and Look at what they did!!!!!

Also Alistar brimble is the king of miggy music....

  • This should be a Perfect Music for the Future Stage: Blossom's Factory

  • Allister Brmble made the best soundtracks for amiga games!

  • It has been said that this is heavily inspired by the Alien movies, but honestly I never thought of it while playing.

  • I think that games from Team17 was some of the best games made for the Amiga. I mean the sound, the graphics was really something. Nice to hear the theme again, it really brings me back :)

  • this tune is nothing short of genius

  • Classic 90's Gaming!

    Shame about the remake LOL

  • I still love this tune - very atmospheric. Loved logging into the old deck computers with the fake interference. Would rather play the original Amiga game than the crap updates being released on the consoles at the moment.

  • Welcome to Intex Systems!

  • This and Speedball still have no counterparts. Kept my A500 and thus I never grew bitter.

  • Anyone who ever tried the "3D" version of Alien Breed?

  • there is a new version for the ps3 ;)

  • Epic!!!! Thank u 4 posting!!!

  • Epic tune, i still have this game boxed on my shelf :D

  • i remmember i was scard of this cover alien breed was for the pc too right ore the ps1 ore something i saw it laying down in a store and it was not comendore

  • @m14g There was a DOS version of the original game and an absolutely terrible version of Tower Assault.

  • Great game and excellent soundtrack !!! I always carry over with other great AmigA Music.

    AmigA rulez !!!

  • played this to death, music was killer good

  • Ah goddamn wrong door sealed.. New Alien Breed just sucks..

  • Where can I download this song, please? I searched the Internet, but just cannot find this version in mp3.

  • @zvolencan1 that is because the Original Music was not composed as a MP3 but was so called tracked Music or MOD for short.

    You have two Options now:

    1) you can download and convert this Youtube Video with an flv to mp3 converter or:

    2) search for the original MOD file and convert that one to mp3.

if you need help with that, let me know (PM)

    Ingo

  • @jivatma09 Or you can just play the .mod in winamp.. native support.

  • @emilen2 i don't know, if Winamp now plays even the custom Amiga Tracker Music files. The Alien Breed Music is not a Standard Protracker MOD file; it's a bp. file. As far as i know, older version of Winamp didn't play MOD's in the correct way generally. But i don't know, if that has changed in newer Version's?! (I'm not using Windows)

  • @jivatma09 Team17 used a playroutine called "The Player", in vers. 4.x as I recall. This was used to compress the music data and unpack it realtime..

Anyhow, all weird formats have since been converted back to the original .mod Protracker format by dedicated people. Search various websites and google to get them.

Also, Winamp can play a lot of different tracker formats natively, and even more if you get plugins. I guess it is also possible on Mac's and Linux.

  • amazing theme for an amazing game

  • 1 of my all time favourites, i remember that laser gun that reflected off the walls =D only problem was u cud hit the fire doors by accident lol, overall top game =)

  • It's nice to see Team 17 who delevoped this are still around and they like 21 year's old and are still going strong, i remember many a time running around endlessly dying because i blowed out a door while killing aliens and then destroying the reactor and not being able to get to the turbolift

  • @Timsalt3100 rico holmes was amazing artist

  • Player One requires first aid...

  • Very nice!! i played this game when i was a child. It was wonderfull and scares me always when the alarm bells sounds and the place got blowed up xD Running for a elevator xD Amiga rules!

  • I loved this game ...

  • @OnlyGoodCommie Shuffle pack cafe.

  • Talk about having different taste, this tune is nothing special for me but it might be because I never had an Amiga :)

    So far C64 music > *

  • The best soundtrack ever made on Amiga! Alister is a real master!

  • Warning Destruction imminent! :D so many memories!!!

    :) thanks

  • Totally and utterly the best game theme on the Amiga, period. Brimble is awesome.

  • i still love this soundtrack from AMIGA and my dream now is to rebuild AMIGA Company ... I want this forgoten dream to be again active

  • It's a quite right dream. The possibilities of Amiga are wide, but not accepted. Our "beloved" Billy G. rule the market. :/

  • @kytanokyle

    Search Google for the Natami.

  • great classic sountrack

  • I remeber as a kid we used to play AB lots of times;) the theme really resembles the games climate:)

  • I agree, it's such an awesome theme, one of the best for Amiga, thanks for the comment! :)

  • @KamilMuzyka I agree, it fitted the game perfectly.
