@sapato0 I was quoting the preamble of the Constitution, which DOES say in the Bill of Rights (the very first Amendment, in fact), that United States citizens have the right to freedom of speech, expression, religion, press, and redressing grievances. This country was built on FREEDOM, not religion. There are plenty of atheists here. Freedom of religion means we can choose what religion we practice, which also means we don't need a god.
