Sure you can say ST:VOY had its share of holodeck silliness and technobabble, but these clips show that when the show kicked ass it KICKED ASS! Movie quality FX for sure. Used to love how the ship would get beat up on occasion. I just wish the production team could've kept the damage/repairs/modifications from episode to episode.
If Starfleet had deployed thirty well crewed and commanded Intrepid class vessels during Dominion War operating in 4-6 vessel squadrons along the entire front performing hit and run attacks, long range recon and high speed deep penetration strikes, the war would've ended a lot quicker
The Intrepid class has to be my favorite, it wasn't as over-done as the galaxy class was, it's a ship that has a dedicated task and mission profile. a working ship with a job to do. Besides it just looks so damned cool. Give me an Intrepid command any day.
awsome,i always fell in love with the cgi of voyager. the way the ship is so agile and moves alot faster then the other starships was verry original. :D great vid thx
I've always thought the USS Voyager was the coolest of all the Starfleet ship designs. It was the only ship that actually looked aerodynamic enough to fly. Nice to see a Voyager video about the ship itself!
no it just needed a lot of thrust plus it was bult in space not on plant like the 2009 movie ship and aerodynamics chang in real life plant to plant and star trek has that made up the nice thing called thusters
actually, today a technology exists called thrusters (though the origonal star trek had them first). infact, a plane decassified by the american government early in 2010 has no moving parts. It relies on thrusters to turn.
which version of the theme is this? I'm making a Voyager video and I want to use it too.

great video, it shows how tough the ship and crew were to survive so long in the Delta Quadrant. I liked the footage from Realitivity

there in space it didnt need to fly so it also didnt need to be aerodynamic
depravedsinner 2 years ago
But didn't it need to be aerodynamically correct to be able to fly to GET to space?

Makes you wonder how many of the people who designed this plane watch Trek as a child.
