Im LDS also, I consider anyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ and that he came in the flesh to be a christian, can you others out there calling yourselves christian say the same thing? With out any if ands or buts? Unfortunately for you the answer is no, you will say yes but then deny LDS being christians, funny but how did John say to test the spirit? and how did Jesus say to judge another man? I love Jesus Christ, I confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, am I a Christian?
@ZorroTech88 There must be "if's and's and but's". Christianity is monogamous and monotheistic. Mormonism is polytheistic and polygamous.. It can't be both. And Christianity has a 2000 yr established history. watch?v=7UG6vHXArlk is a documentary on English. It proves English dates 325AD. How then can the BofM be of "reformed Egyptian" from 400BC? Further there was never any cultural contact between Egyptians and English of 325AD. This is reality. (Mor=More=English as per JS)
I'm LDS and this has got to be the greatest fairy tale ever hahahahahahahahaha..... I'm stilllll laughing hahahahahahahahahaha.... Now on the serious note..... Who's place is it for you to judge our religion???
@Tonga4220 "Who's place is it for you to judge our religion???" Every Christian's place. We have a right to defend the 2000yr history of Christianity. JS claimed ALL Christianity was "anathema". JS claimed Jesus and God are polygamist Polytheists. And God was first a man and became a god. The burden is on the Mormon to prove it's polytheism, etc. And Everything in this video is accurate and easy to research.
@theQiwiMan Why? On what authority does a mortal man named Joseph Smith claim that he has "another gospel of Jesus Christ"? It is not a question of who people think is an idiot. It is a question of who is decieved and tricked out of their chance to be reconclied to God through Jesus Christ's willing sacrifice, through his gift of grace to creation.
Anyone who believes that a mortal man has the authority to add and change the gospel of Jesus is not an idiot, but is being deceived & defrauded.
2 address the video directly...How many others have risen 2 the highest level of masonry in one day? 2 do such a thing would lead a person examining it that He must have allready know all the things the masons taught BEFORE he went 2 join, the process normaly takes years, possibly a life time to achieve. On a side note masonry is made up of people, many faiths, most believe that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior, what I believe does not require you to believe for it to be true.
@mormonmeable the talisman lets see The source of the now famous Talisman story, which Dr. Durham bases his findings on, originated from Wilford C. Wood, who was told it by Charles Bidaman, who was the illegitimate son of Lewis Bidaman. Lewis was Emma Smith's non-Mormon second husband. Charles was born out of an affair between Lewis Bidaman and Nancy Abercrombie, which occurred while Lewis was married to Emma. Charles was taken in by Emma at the age of 4 and raised by her until she died 11 years
Have you ever looked at the work that went into Jewish method of transcribing the scriptures to ensure that it was transcribed correctly? We've already been shown through the dead sea scrolls that what we have today is basically what they had at the time those scrolls were written.
And people do learn to speak other languages quite accurately, and many books, not just the bible, have been translated into other languages accurately, and they aren't even inspired...why would...
you think otherwise of the bible, especially as it is the inspired word of God. Is God not powerful enough to watch over his message to ensure that the people of our day have the true message?
It's a cop-out really to be able to say: sorry the bible is wrong, our doctrine is correct because the bible wasn't translated correctly. Do you realize the power that gives an individual? He could just make up what he wants and just say oh the bible is wrong in this regard....
This means you really have no judging rod, no way of really telling whether someone is making something up or not.
Do you really think God is not powerful enough to preserve his word for every generation? That he would actually leave this earth without his message? People usually draw the conclusion that ohhh the bible must be wrong just so they can pick an choose what they want to believe and not have to worry about the bible contradicting them, so they try to discredit it.
@Myhopeisinhim Are u sure u want the dead sea scrolls to be your foundation of discredit of books other than the bible? You do realize many other books and scrolls were found together with the dead sea scrolls other than those found in the bible, dont you? FYI Mormons believe the KJB is the most correct version of the bible, isnt that what the dead sea scrolls prove also? Ever heard of the copper scroll? Why do they call it that? What was written on it?
@ZorroTech88 Nothing in the dead sea scrolls confirms Mormonism. They do prove the Jews were precise in keeping their texts. Other additional texts are not the issue. They are simply other texts. We know Christians were just as careful. The copper scroll and other metal scrolls do nothing to prove the BofM. That's like pointing at a tooth brush to prove the BofM is correct.
keep turning your cheeks and loving your enemies and have faith you will be saved, sounds like something your enemy might write. Keep waiting, billions of other people did.

@LDS4Life71 If this hand me down theology that's been handed over eons is so in error and mistranslated what of the hand me down stories by Joe and pals to justify their claims? A scintilla of evidence would be nice. How does an old white hat and pet rock overturn 3000yrs of translation? When confronted with real evidence, like the easily disproved Abraham papyrus, you toss it out of sight. You wont dig up Cumorah. "Mormonism: The Eternal Presence of an Absence" It leaves us wanting and wanting

@IExposeMormonism Yes I know a pair of evangelicals or so called christians whose nicks starts with ch and S. that in fact are a pair of vipers who also pronounce sacred words. One of theM think she is a saint. Imagine!
Deluded Mormon. If the Christian faith we have is so tainted why do you adhere to the canon established by *Christians*, read the book (KJV) translated by *Christians* and model your entire church system after 1800 *Christian* methods?
It's truly laughable and no Mormon has yet given me a reasonable answer.
@LDS4Life71 I was never a Mormon, you should know that much by now. Despite your confusion on the origin of my words, just read what they say. Did you read them? Ok, Just answer the question: Evidence, please...... Next, I have a few questions about Cumorah.
@LDS4Life71 Oh, Yeh, well I'm rubber and your glue, etc. can you show any text from 0-300AD showing Christianity being polygamous and the polytheistic? How much Christian Polygamy was practiced in year 50? And year 250. And what happened to it? Who suppressed it and where is the evidence for these claims? Thank you and please speak directly into the microphone..
@LDS4Life71 The neo platonic, gnostic,Greek Mystery religion and syncretism are in Mormonism. It's explained in part in this video. You should listen to it and read up on Mormonism. Has anyone explained why Mormon left S.A. and walked to NY and buried and big heavy gold book in a drumlin in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of a people he knew not, for reasons he did not give, and simply walk away w/o so much as an explanation.
I think every American should watch the movie "September Dawn", based on historical fact of the early Mormon leaders, including Brigham Young, ordering the murder of hundreds of westward bound traveling pioneers going through Utah in the 1850s. Mormons like to deny or ignore the Mountain Meadow Massacre ever occurred or that their leaders didn't order it when they did.
I'm not surprised that Mormonism is influenced by the Masons/occult considering during Joseph Smith's time the occult was very popular....seances, mystery religions, metaphysical studies, etc. They may believe in God & Jesus but I think that's where the similarities to other Christian denominations end since they had polygamy, subjugate women, think whites are superior & going to heaven while blacks have the mark of Cain, wear "magic'" underwear & think Amer Indians are the lost tribe of Israel
@HopeAngel777 its a proven fact that he did that and more there are court documents where he was chargedd with "Glass looking" which is stone gazing or what not... Joe Smith was a crazy dude
Its funny that those things that are right and true get persecuted so much. Just like the lds church. people who know so little think they know so much and thats where all this anti mormon stuff comes from. this video is all BS. joseph smith was a prophet who blessed many lifes. it will be made known to you one day.
@LDS4Life71 you said you had a map. Me want map. FAIR exists as a form of logical absurdity. Example: The Book of Abraham is not provable as true Because it's a fiction, a lie. FAIR wants to collect evidence that it's really what JS said it was. But it's not. The falsity of the BofA is Easy to prove. But if you exist to prove something false is in fact true and that's what you're collecting evidence for then you'll have a long time collecting little bits of lies to help prove your point. Map?
@LDS4Life71 You know all your theological claims are based on books for which there isn't a scintilla of evidence. It matters not if Evangelicals are born again, the BofM is a dead lie. The issue is Joe and his claims. He provides evidence against himself everytime he picks up a paper and "translates" it. It's Foot in Mouth disease! Or head in hat disease. Maybe he bumped his head on his pet rock and had a serious brain injury resulting in demonic possession. "Cause he's out of his F'ing mind!
@IExposeMormonism out of his mind he may be but atleast he was in his body unlike humanity today leading planetary self destruction. what is the mind to you? many assume its the brain.. although its scientific the heart created the brain so there is a greater intelligence within the heart then mind which is like just a storage house. so what i know to be true through experience is that i am simply awareness which is wholly at core and everyone has access to the this collectiveness
@LDS4Life71 I collect maps, I want a copy. I have hundreds of maps of Utah alone. I wonder if Eden is in Missouri or SLC. According to the BofM the cities are found:: In the Eastern Seaboard, right where Joe "found" his "gold" plates. Those names aren't found in S.A., where Morgs are backpedaling to! now, why would Mormon walk 4000's miles, all the way to NY and bury a heavy gold book in a drumlin and leave not a word of that and yet ALL the cites in the BofM are in the east. Now, why is that??
@LDS4Life71 Apostasy? Mormons have been in Apostasy Sooo much quicker than what's alleged by Mormonism on Christians. You guys claim "restoration" but look at you:: Complete renunciation of Sacred Polygamy, the hallmark of Mormonism, gone, Kaput! Adam=God Doctrine, ignored, denied, not taught. Those 2 alone make you guys the apostates by your own definition. At least Christians lasted over a hundred years,(According to Morg myths) but didn't adhere to their own beliefs, oh, the shame of it all.
Anyone who thinks Mormonism is a cult having to do with paganism should research the true history of how their religion came about, first. Because they all started as greek mystery cults for paganism......look it up
@paulksycki That's a copout used by atheists to denounce religions.....yes older religions have some influence on more modern ones: Judaism influenced Christianity and both influenced islam....Egyptian and pre-Islamic pagan religions probably did influence rituals or religious morality stories in the Bible. That doesn't mean that monotheistic religions are false. That would be like saying we shouldn't speak English because it's been influenced by older French, Germanic/Nordic languages, etc.
really? Mormons have no right talking about faith.i know i shouldn't go around talking about someones religion, but really if u become a Mormon than u dumber than those Scientology ding dongs.latter day saints cults and there damn polygamist em-breeding big fore head off springs make me sicc!u don't like what i'm saying, look up that goof Warren Jeffs then reply .
It's interesting to note that the the Jupiter Talisman that Joseph had (@ 3:50) is actually a graven image. Didn't God mention something about graven images? The 4x4 Magic Square as seen on the talisman has been used by the very same Babylonians who built the Tower of Babel in order to open a portal to heaven. Freemasons have used these Magic Squares too.
@LDS4Life71 Joe joined the Freemasons, swiped their cult rituals and words and The cult architecture. But then Joe was steeped in Kaballah before he joined those occultists. Problem:: Since Joe missed literally all the Abraham Pap' Egyptian glyphs meaning and in time by 2000 years, just how sure can we be of the so called "Reformed Egyptian" for which we haven't Any evidence? Why would Mormon walk thousands of miles into NY and bury a precious book in a Drumlin and leave not a word concerning it?
@LDS4Life71 Wrong again, LDS4Lie; YOU are wasting your time. Now, please tell me when the archaeological excavations begin. you promised to send me maps. I need to get my concession stands set up before the digs begin!!
For The Worthy Saints Who Purchased "Reformed Egyptian For Dummies!!"
We're Pleased To Present
"REFORMED Reformed Egyptian For Dummies!!
This kit includes your very own pair of Masonic Magic Underwear- Complete with Green Apron, a Jupiter Talisman, 33 Marriage Licenses, AND Genuine Facsimiles of The Hoffman Documents!!
All Yours for Only $349.95 + Shipping & Handling + 10% of your gross Income!!
@CounterCultureLives LOL I'm sure some day we'll have a reformed reformed LDS church and they'll worship geckos and Geronimo: the war god of the lost tribe of Israel...
@LDS4Life71 Pt.3) You CAN NOT be serious. I'll prosper from the profits of my snow cone / cotton candy concessions stands; what's more, the phone lines will be burning up with new, current, and even inactive Mormons calling to place their orders for my "Reformed Egyptians for Dummies!!" kits, ($149.95 + shipping & handling) AND my "REFORMED Reformed Egyptian for Dummies" kits!! ($349.95 + shipping & handling + 10% of your gross income!!) Turn a blind eye?? Not me!!
@LDS4Life71 pt.2) Look at what so many institutions have to gain!! Economies of third world countries will flourish with the new influx of tourism and money, much of it in the form of American dollars. Universities who help fund & provide manpower to the excavation efforts will receive untold endowments. Their academic prestige will skyrocket. The Holy Chalice of LDS's membership roles and coffers will runneth over with new, lasting, and tithing converts. So, when do the excavations begin??
@LDS4Life71 Pt.1) Wrong again!! Since LDS has finally identified these "holy lands" of BoM, I'm sure that they'll begin archaeological excavations as soon as possible. They should yield a cornucopia of evidence that will fill the void of credible scientific evidences to support BoM. Naturally, it is to LDS's advantage to have these locations and evidences authenticated by Smithsonian, National Geographic, Society, and a government's Ministry of Antiquities.
@LDS4Life71 So, when do the archaeological excavations begin?? When will LDS begin publishing the maps of these locations in The Book of Mormon?? Please send me the maps ASAP. I've got dibbs on the snow cone and cotton candy concessions!!
@LDS4Life71 "Reshaping the truth" and selectively reshaping history is nothing new to LDS. I'm sure LDS can't wait to have the finding of their excavation scrutinized by unbiased experts. Can't wait!!
@LDS4Life71 Great!! I'm SURE that LDS will begin archaeological excavations which will produce a bounty or swords, breast shields, and chariots, coins, and other artifacts from The Book of Mormon that are not currently supported by the sciences, along with skeletal remains of Nephites and Lamanites!! They'll even include their maps in The Book of Mormon!!
@LDS4Life71 BTW, if you would cease your moronic whining and ramblings and pay attention for once,, you'd see that sources ARE identified here!! i just LOVE showing potential LDS converts your idiotic postings; it illuminates the chosen paths of willful ignorance, denials, and endless excuse making embraced by Mobot Apolgogists!! ;o)
@LDS4Life71 SmYth/Freemasonry Pt.2) In the evening I received the first degree in Freemasonry in the Nauvoo Lodge, assembled in my general business office. (History of the Church, by Joseph Smith, Deseret Book, 1978, Vol.4, Ch.32, p.550-1)
@LDS4Life71 smYth/Freem,ason Pt.1) Tuesday, [March] 15. — I officiated as grand chaplain at the installation of the Nauvoo Lodge of Free Masons, at the Grove near the Temple. Grand Master Jonas, of Columbus, being present, a large number of people assembled on the occasion.(History of the Church, by Joseph Smith, Deseret Book, 1978, Vol.4, Ch.32, p.550-1)
All Seeing Eye, Anointing with oil, Apron, Beehive, Square and Compass, Solemn Assembly in the Temple, Five points of Fellowship (Removed by LDS after 1990, Special Garments applied to initiates
Garment Markings,Special handshakes, Moon symbol, Blood/death oaths of secrecy with morbid gestures and words describing penalties agreed to if secrets are revealed. Removed by LDS after 1990.
@LDS4Life71 So, are you now attempting to claim that SmYth DIDN'T use his magic rocks-in-hat trick to dig for lost treasure?? Are you claiming that LDS Temple rituals and LDS Temples AREN'T derived from Masonic rituals or symbols?? are you claiming that SmYth DID NOTvcarry a Jupiter Tallisman??
@LDS4Life71 So, are you claiming that HincKKKley's and KKKimball's powers of discernment WERE working when they spent LDS's money on The Hoffman Forgeries?? Or, are you attempting top claim that they didn't lie about having possession of them??
@LDS4Life71 Yeah... Mormon Profits have TRUE powers of discernment. That's why Gordon B. HincKKKley and Spencer W. KKKimball spent LDS's money on The Hoffman Forgeries!! That's why they later lied, attempting to deny having possession of themLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!
thank you for exposing truth about this cult. I just found out the jehovahs witnesse founder was a Freemason also. Everyone needs to know these cults misrepresent the real Jesus.
Mormons believe in a different GOD so don't get offended by what they say, don't feed into their negativity. Mormons believe their GOD was once a man in another world then became righteous following his God and become a God himself. Their GOD is a flesh and blood man but he's perfect, they believe in many Gods, they believe he lives on another planet next to the star Kolob with his many wives. Now thats some alien Star Trek type shit, so FUCK the Mormons and FUCK their racist GOD too.
Mormon leader Joseph Smith was a Freemason (Scottish Rite), its well documented that the illuminati order is part of Freemasonry (study Albert Pike). So ask your missionaries or Bishop's why was Joseph Smith apart of the Freemason order when, 1: Freemasonry is an occult belief not a religion, 2: Freemasons worship Lucifer, 3: Why didn't Joseph expose the Freemason occult when he started the Church, 4: Why are Masonic symbols and teachings evident in Mormon temples and churches.
You mean you discovered what you want to believe is the truth, therefore you dedicate your life trying to convince others you're a great philosopher having solved the mysteries of the ages and the great "non-existence of God" just so you won't feel so alone in your cold, dark, godless little troll world.
Clearly you have too much time on your hands, busying your day pestering "religious whacks" like us all in futile effort to piously exalt yourself over "dumb religious sheeple."
And even unto the great and last day ,when all people ,and all kindreds, and all nations and tongues shall stand before God ,to be judged of their works ,whether they be good or whether they be evil
If they be good , to the resurrection of everlasting life ,& if they be evil ,to the resurrection of damnation ;being on a parallel , the one on the one hand &the other on the other hand according to the mercy and the justice &the holiness which is in Christ ,who was before the world began.
@mollymu1 Stars are not eternal. They are formed from molecular clouds, run their cycles and then come to an end. Why would the throne of the eternal God be near something that was going to die?
@endofus This is about as dumb as the statement that the liahona couldn't of existed cause the Chinese hadn't invented it yet ...... God doesn't have to depend on the chinese to invent something and it wasn't a compass anyway . Think if God creates the universe he can make an eteranl star . But you knew that already didn't you . Just trying to cause trouble .
@endofus -Why are member like you the one's who know the least about you're own churches teachings?
You mean kinda like most of the Catholics I know who go to church only on easter and Christmas, and then only because it's tradition, and don't know the Bible, the Catholic faiths ugly history etc? Kinda like that enDOOFUS? Roll eyes.
If this is all you got left, might as well leave, as if your an anti Mormon? Your one of the worst ones I've ever seen. roll eyes.
@wellsjdan the problem with your attack on another (actual) christian sect is that mormons are supposed to be more intellectually invested in their church, a church whose history is less then 200 years old. they might not be practicing theists, but that doesn't give you the right to call them out to distract from your own short comings. there is NO WAY you are aware of many problematic elements of your church if you were raised lds. start here mormonthink [dot] com to see what i mean.
@plunderpunk =mormons are supposed to be more intellectually invested in their church
Huh? Not sure what that means, we are more spiritually invested in truth, History can be twisted and manipulated, and could be written by someone with an agenda or grudge.
My testimony of Jesus Christ is based on spiritual, not historical.
@wellsjdan "History can be twisted and manipulated, and could be written by someone with an agenda or grudge."
excellent. now, with you having said specifically that, you CAN understand that that very sentiment is applied to mormon historians by the rest of us in regards to keeping the lds church in the dark about their true history... as your churches history has absolutely been twisted by its leaders who have an agenda. please visit mormontruth {dot} com to understand what i am saying.
@plunderpunk =Your not listening, no person of faith's testimony is based on history, but on the spirit of God, so who cares what historians say on the LDS side or the anti Mormon side, it's moot... My faith is based on the spirit, my own answer to prayer and study thru the spirit of the Holy ghost.
@wellsjdan as lds apostles have made clear, if the BOM wasn't "the most correct book on earth", the church would be without legitimacy. this is where history comes into the picture. fact checking history shows us that the historical claims of the bom are easily disproven. thus a conclusion is readily reached: the lds, by its own logic, has no legitimacy. you can speak of the spirit and prayer and such, but your traditions are based in a flawed system (that claims to be the one true church!)
@wellsjdan here's how "proven" prayer fact checking is: members of the lds who don't reach the predetermined answer for their prayers about smith and the bom are told they are of little faith. if, heaven forbid, they publicly question the lds version of "fact checking" they can be kicked out of the church. THAT'S how "proven" fact checking through prayer is.
i have no faith, as you would define it. i refuse to believe in unprovable things or rely on fairy tales and warm feelings to guide me.
@plunderpunk - So a guy who has no beliefs, rips people of faith? LOL roll eyes. I don't talk to atheist nuts, they are brain washed nuts who trust men for their beliefs, Science is not provable, it is constantly changing, they still don't know how the world started or how man came to be.
Your just a lost soul that comes to religious sites because you are looking for somthing. We see a ton of you atheist nuts in religious topics on Youtube and elsewhere.
@wellsjdan "I don't talk to atheist nuts, they are brain washed nuts" defined brainwashed. define lost soul. define anything. science was never part of this debate. i present factual points of contention, you resort to personal attacks. i've given you enough of my time. good luck.
@plunderpunk - Atheists are a bore to talk to because they have nothing of interest to discuss. They have no clue what the spiritual side is, and are too closed minded to find out. There like little children saying "NO NO NO NO" before trying something.
They are just rebellious kids who are looking for something, that's why you see them in threads like this. roll eyes. Run along doofus. You have nothing to offer me. I have truth.
@wellsjdan "Atheists are a bore to talk..." Idiots are a bore to talk because they have nothing of pertinent importance to discuss. they have no clue about the spiritual outside of their little bubbles, and are too indoctrinated to ever begin to know how to search for it. they are like little children saying "no no no no" before trying anything.
they are just lock-step dittoheads looking to prove their worthiness to their sect. run along. you have nothing to offer me. i have truth.
@wellsjdan first you defended your prophets actions. when they didn't work you attempted to defend your prophet. when that didn't work you defended your church. when that didn't work you attempted to defend it's practices. when that didn't work you simply attacked me. great job.
@plunderpunk - What I pointed out was the obvious to anyone who understands what faith is. Faith is not something that you have evidence of. It's a spiritual thing Atheist don't understand. Therefore it is useless talking to you about things you are too closed minded to try. Run along. You have nothing of substancde to offer anyone.
@wellsjdan atheists understand how faith works. i was specifically referring to tangible historical documents that under mind the tangible works (bom, boa) of the man joseph smith, thus under minding his legacy. changing the topic to other things doesn't refute what history tells us about him. you've used the term "brainswashed" repeatedly. you are so indoctrinated in joe smith lore that you flat out refuse to consider what FACTS tell us. FACTS speak louder then prayer. sorry.
one need only reference your comments for that answer.
if documents can establish a church (the book or mormon starting the lds in this case), the authenticity of that document can absolutely determine the strength and longevity of it. thus, documents CAN under mind faith. that is a common issue with exmos who've left the church. facts are universal. that is their nature. documents show smith was arrested several times for money digging. this is a fact.
@punk -Your showing your ignorance. The BofM didn't start the LDS faith, the Prophet Joesph seeing a vision of God the Father and his son Jesus Christ started the religion, the BofM came later.
No document can undermine faith, as the definition of faith (I thought you knew this? smirk, guess not) faiith is evidence of things not seen. So you show your ignorance twice in one post. Shall we go for three? LOL
There is always those who lack faith, in any religion. Atheism=Faithless
@plunderpunk -Prophets are not perfect people, they make mistakes and errors in judgement, reasoning etc. Big deal. Your points are moot, as they don't prove Joseph a Prophet or not a Prophet. Now, read this again, as this is my third time posting this, and you keep repeating Joseph dug for money, big deal, many have.
@wellsjdan lets try the direct approach. money digging was bad. why? it involved trickery related to claims of having supernatural powers (ie divination, which is warned about in the bible). smith used the same seer stone to *steal* money from people with money-digging that he claimed to have used for the divine translating of the golden plates. this is all documented in secular and church documents. ok now. put this all together. maybe not to you, but others would find this very troubling.
@plunderpunk - I never claimed Joseph never money dug, you have a reading comprehension problem, (not to mention poor grammar) I said it doens't matter. It was a common practice to search for gold, silver in those days, Joseph was hired to try to find it, big deal. You act like your telling us new things, roll eyes. This is common knowlege, it's even mentioned in our scriptures. The Lord told him to stop and he did. Big deal. He was never convicted for anything related to this.
@wellsjdan money-digging isn't treasure hunting, you simpleton. it's divining. jospeh smith lied about having the gift of seeing treasures in the ground with his magical peep stone to trick people out of their money. not long after this part of his life he claimed to be translating golden plates he'd found with THE SAME MAGIC STONE he'd committed crimes with. smith OBVIOUSLY lied about BOTH the treasure finding and the translating. he was a liar plain and simple.
@plunderpunk -Get a life dude, you have obsessive compulisive disorder and need medication. So what if Joseph searched for treasure. It proves nothing. Get a new topic as this one is old and meaningless.
Your a very odd person, your videos on Youtube are nonsenical, and weird, and show a strange person with strange tastes in psychotic videos.
Your a one note piano, and a bore, you have nothing but one topic and nothing in return to offer people except atheism? Athiests=Nutjobs
@wellsjdan you're reply? divergence & personal attacks. you base your life on fairy tales, and I'm strange?
i rest my case. btw "What does a white dude who can't dance have to do with Bin Laden photo? " are you 12? wait, that's probably your whole deal. yeash.
@endofus - Yea, and Catholics know tons about their past. LOL Inquistion, conquestedors, rape, pillage, forced conversions. LOL Get lost Catholic, nobody respects that faith anymore anyway.
@endofus - The Catholic church is truly an evil organization, with non biblical concepts, popes, cardinals, rosary beads, hail marys, worshipping and praying to mary, praying to dead apostles, thinking Paul is buried under the vatican, for what reason we don't know why it matters. LOL Coo coo, coo coo.
@plunderpunk- Let me ask you this, why do you care so much about Joseph Smith and the Mormon church? What is your obsession? You an exMormon? Why the study, obsession with us?
@endofus -Stars are not eternal. They are formed from molecular clouds, run their cycles and then come to an end. Why would the throne of the eternal God be near something that was going to die?
Why not? So it ends, another replaces it. So? And? roll eyes.
Your points are getting weaker and weaker dude. Seriously Scott, get a life dude. Somebody warn your wife scott.
@mollymu1 "Read the Book of Mormon Another Testment of Jesus Christ and then pray and decide. " yes. do that, too. take in all the informative available to make an informed decision. should anyone be expected to make a major life choice going on the views of one side of an opinion?
Thank you for telling the truth, all this is found in the History of the Church Volumes written by the most noted Mormon Historian BH Roberts. For Mormons, all this is found in your own Church Authorized books, Read the History of the Church.
@Screamo2095 what would it matter if i cited chapter and verse in your own churches documents if, like with the Kinderhook Plates, it's fair game for you to deny it, saying "that was never proven. our apologists have covered this". what does it really matter? are mormons now taught that smith *wasn't* a folk magick practitioner? that he was *never* involved in money digging? these are all documented by non-vested sources as well as the churches own history. ipso facto.
@plunderpunk lol it would matter if you cited it cuz then i would know if you are speaking the truth or not haha and no we never believed he got a magic rock to find money? haha he used them to translate the Plates
@wellsjdan in saying smith *wasn't* something damning, BUT if he was it wouldn't matter you're having your cake and eating it. plus, various court records as well as his father--in-laws infamous affidavit show that he was a scam artist in his pre-BOM days. does this *prove* he wasn't a prophet? honestly? knowing he was a scam artist *by trade* in the short time before his invention of the BOM, who would even bother with such a ridiculous proposition? the LDS teach none of this for a reason.
@plunderpunk -in saying smith *wasn't* something damning, BUT if he was it wouldn't matter you're having your cake and eating it
I've dug for treasure, I've panned for gold, does that make me a money digger? Guess so, so what, doesn't make my calling with God any different. Your point is moot. For every bad story about Joseph, there is a good one, who you going to believe? I choose to believe spirit of God who says he was a Prophet, you choose to believe a story by someone you don't know.
@wellsjdan "I've dug for treasure, I've panned for gold, does that make me a money digger?"
i was under the impression that you grasped what "money-digging" was. it was a folk magic practice used by known occultists to scam gullible folks out of money. it involved using a magic 'peep stone" placed in a hat to find treasure buried in the ground. all of this well documented nonsense is what the prophet employed himself with until the bom and is why many believe he remained a fraud his whole life.
Joe Smith had more Mormons in Freemasonry at Nauvoo than there were FM in All of Illinois! The implications! At Carthage jail everyone inside the jail was a Freemason and everyone outside the jail was a FM, too. The Gov, jailer, sheriff, military, etc. Thus it was a game of Freemason Hardball. Also, Joe married Lucinda Morgan, the widow of the Morgan Affair. After his death she married him for eternity and husband Harris for Time! source:: "The Nauvoo Endowment Ceremonies, a Documentary History"
@megathai The Free Masons are the secular antithesis of the Catholic Church. That is why Mormons always say "It is between us and the Catholics. In fact the highest orders of Masonry are forbidden by the Church. Catholics pray for the conversion of the masons not in their destruction. Leanardo Da Vinci asked to be baptized before his death.
@megathai most lower levels are not evil and are not forbidden however the higher levels enter deeply into the occult making man a god. Mozart pissed off his fellow masons by revealing some of their secrets in the opera "the magic flute" In any case Fr Kolbe who died in Auschwitz dedicated his short life to the conversion of the Masons. We think them good people just misguided.
@uncatila I understand, However what is so bad about masonry? They have the knowledge that makes complete sense in the series called "Spirit Science".
@megathai they are leading people into theological error which can cause a fall into sin and a loss of sanctifying grace. That is all. Satan is cleaver. He is smarter than all the smartest people in the world put together.
@megathai World War one was sparked by a Masonic assassin who had just left the Black Hand. Our Revolution which turned out good was stared by Masons after they got our of their loge meeting. Ours turned out good because king George was head of church and State making him a Tyrant and no true King as was Louis 16 killed by massons in the french Revolt.
@megathai One needs to weigh a lot of information. There are always prose and cons. But the mind which is the soul was made for truth so if it is not diminished in it's capacity by sin then it will be able to discern between truth or fiction.
@cinderalla72 check my past comments already I gave you alot of scriptures of the metaphysics on how God gave us bodies before physical ones.
why are you talking to me?
You called me a heathen although you said, "The foundation of a Christian is to love one another not fight among ourselves.Don't say you church is better than anybody else.Thank you"
By the way, the scientific evidence is called Astral Projection and Lucid Dreaming.
Great video. Mormonism is a brainwashing trap. Joseph Smith was a total fraud. On page 41 Joseph Smith even identified the egyptian godesses Isis and Maat figures 2 and 4 as King Pharaoh and Prince of Pharaoh. He couldn't even interpret the extremely obvious feminine sex of these pictures.
ZorroTech88 4 days ago
@ZorroTech88 There must be "if's and's and but's". Christianity is monogamous and monotheistic. Mormonism is polytheistic and polygamous.. It can't be both. And Christianity has a 2000 yr established history. watch?v=7UG6vHXArlk is a documentary on English. It proves English dates 325AD. How then can the BofM be of "reformed Egyptian" from 400BC? Further there was never any cultural contact between Egyptians and English of 325AD. This is reality. (Mor=More=English as per JS)

Myhopeisinhim 3 months ago

Myhopeisinhim 3 months ago
you think otherwise of the bible, especially as it is the inspired word of God.
Myhopeisinhim 3 months ago
This means you really have no judging rod, no way of really telling whether someone is making something up or not.
Do you really think God is not powerful enough to preserve his word for every generation? That he would actually leave this earth without his message? People usually draw the conclusion that ohhh the bible must be wrong just so they can pick an choose what they want to believe and not have to worry about the bible contradicting them, so they try to discredit it.
Myhopeisinhim 3 months ago
@Myhopeisinhim Are u sure u want the dead sea scrolls to be your foundation of discredit of books other than the bible? You do realize many other books and scrolls were found together with the dead sea scrolls other than those found in the bible, dont you? FYI Mormons believe the KJB is the most correct version of the bible, isnt that what the dead sea scrolls prove also? Ever heard of the copper scroll? Why do they call it that? What was written on it?
ZorroTech88 2 months ago
@ZorroTech88 Nothing in the dead sea scrolls confirms Mormonism. They do prove the Jews were precise in keeping their texts. Other additional texts are not the issue. They are simply other texts. We know Christians were just as careful. The copper scroll and other metal scrolls do nothing to prove the BofM. That's like pointing at a tooth brush to prove the BofM is correct.

A scintilla of evidence would be nice. How does an old white hat and pet rock overturn 3000yrs of translation? When confronted with real evidence, like the easily disproved Abraham papyrus, you toss it out of sight. You wont dig up Cumorah. That's your answer?!
Sorry, I hate to employ the colloquialism but -- FAIL.
That was the most feeble attempt at an answer to a very serious question that I have read in a long time.
According to Smith:
"Ignorant translators, careless transcribers, or designing and corrupt priests have committed many errors..."
But here you are using it, printing it, distributing it.
It's a contradiction that you can't explain, and there are a thousand just like it.

You're not going to change the subject or distract from the question:
:
********Why do you use the KJV, a translation published at a time you said there was a 'great apostasy'?********
James commissioned 47 translators in 1604 to work on the Authorized Version. Every one of those men were members of the 'apostate' Church of England.
Well???

I think every American should watch the movie "September Dawn", based on historical fact of the early Mormon leaders, including Brigham Young, ordering the murder of hundreds of westward bound traveling pioneers going through Utah in the 1850s.

Map?
IExposeMormonism 5 months ago
@LDS4Life71 You know all your theological claims are based on books for which there isn't a scintilla of evidence. It matters not if Evangelicals are born again, the BofM is a dead lie. The issue is Joe and his claims. He provides evidence against himself everytime he picks up a paper and "translates" it. It's Foot in Mouth disease! Or head in hat disease. Maybe he bumped his head on his pet rock and had a serious brain injury resulting in demonic possession. "Cause he's out of his F'ing mind!
IExposeMormonism 5 months ago

IExposeMormonism 5 months ago

Because they all started as greek mystery cults for paganism......look it up
paulksycki 5 months ago
@paulksycki That's a copout used by atheists to denounce religions.....yes older religions have some influence on more modern ones: Judaism influenced Christianity and both influenced islam....Egyptian and pre-Islamic pagan religions probably did influence rituals or religious morality stories in the Bible. That doesn't mean that monotheistic religions are false. That would be like saying we shouldn't speak English because it's been influenced by older French, Germanic/Nordic languages, etc.

Was Joseph arrested and convicted of Fraud before or after he joined the Masons?

If they be good , to the resurrection of everlasting life ,& if they be evil ,to the resurrection of damnation ;being on a parallel , the one on the one hand &the other on the other hand according to the mercy and the justice &the holiness which is in Christ ,who was before the world began.

wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan the problem with your attack on another (actual) christian sect is that mormons are supposed to be more intellectually invested in their church, a church whose history is less then 200 years old. they might not be practicing theists, but that doesn't give you the right to call them out to distract from your own short comings. there is NO WAY you are aware of many problematic elements of your church if you were raised lds. start here mormonthink [dot] com to see what i mean.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk =mormons are supposed to be more intellectually invested in their church
Huh? Not sure what that means, we are more spiritually invested in truth, History can be twisted and manipulated, and could be written by someone with an agenda or grudge.
My testimony of Jesus Christ is based on spiritual, not historical.
What faith are you?
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan "History can be twisted and manipulated, and could be written by someone with an agenda or grudge."
excellent. now, with you having said specifically that, you CAN understand that that very sentiment is applied to mormon historians by the rest of us in regards to keeping the lds church in the dark about their true history... as your churches history has absolutely been twisted by its leaders who have an agenda. please visit mormontruth {dot} com to understand what i am saying.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk =Your not listening, no person of faith's testimony is based on history, but on the spirit of God, so who cares what historians say on the LDS side or the anti Mormon side, it's moot... My faith is based on the spirit, my own answer to prayer and study thru the spirit of the Holy ghost.
What faith you are?
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan as lds apostles have made clear, if the BOM wasn't "the most correct book on earth", the church would be without legitimacy. this is where history comes into the picture. fact checking history shows us that the historical claims of the bom are easily disproven. thus a conclusion is readily reached: the lds, by its own logic, has no legitimacy. you can speak of the spirit and prayer and such, but your traditions are based in a flawed system (that claims to be the one true church!)
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk - As I said, men checking facts is a flawed concept. Spiritual answer to prayer does not come from men checking facts. roll eyes.
Whether or not Joseph searched for treasure or not is irrelevant. It doesn't prove he was a Prophet or not. That comes thru answer to prayer.
Your fact checking is flawed sir, and is of no mind.
Why won't you answer a question yourself? What faith are you ? What are you afraid of? You have something better than my faith? Let's hear it
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan here's how "proven" prayer fact checking is: members of the lds who don't reach the predetermined answer for their prayers about smith and the bom are told they are of little faith. if, heaven forbid, they publicly question the lds version of "fact checking" they can be kicked out of the church. THAT'S how "proven" fact checking through prayer is.
i have no faith, as you would define it. i refuse to believe in unprovable things or rely on fairy tales and warm feelings to guide me.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk - So a guy who has no beliefs, rips people of faith? LOL roll eyes. I don't talk to atheist nuts, they are brain washed nuts who trust men for their beliefs, Science is not provable, it is constantly changing, they still don't know how the world started or how man came to be.
Your just a lost soul that comes to religious sites because you are looking for somthing. We see a ton of you atheist nuts in religious topics on Youtube and elsewhere.
Open your mind, pray, listen.
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan "I don't talk to atheist nuts, they are brain washed nuts" defined brainwashed. define lost soul. define anything. science was never part of this debate. i present factual points of contention, you resort to personal attacks. i've given you enough of my time. good luck.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk - Atheists are a bore to talk to because they have nothing of interest to discuss. They have no clue what the spiritual side is, and are too closed minded to find out. There like little children saying "NO NO NO NO" before trying something.
They are just rebellious kids who are looking for something, that's why you see them in threads like this. roll eyes. Run along doofus. You have nothing to offer me. I have truth.
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan "Atheists are a bore to talk..." Idiots are a bore to talk because they have nothing of pertinent importance to discuss. they have no clue about the spiritual outside of their little bubbles, and are too indoctrinated to ever begin to know how to search for it. they are like little children saying "no no no no" before trying anything.
they are just lock-step dittoheads looking to prove their worthiness to their sect. run along. you have nothing to offer me. i have truth.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@wellsjdan first you defended your prophets actions. when they didn't work you attempted to defend your prophet. when that didn't work you defended your church. when that didn't work you attempted to defend it's practices. when that didn't work you simply attacked me. great job.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk - What I pointed out was the obvious to anyone who understands what faith is. Faith is not something that you have evidence of. It's a spiritual thing Atheist don't understand. Therefore it is useless talking to you about things you are too closed minded to try. Run along. You have nothing of substancde to offer anyone.
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan atheists understand how faith works. i was specifically referring to tangible historical documents that under mind the tangible works (bom, boa) of the man joseph smith, thus under minding his legacy. changing the topic to other things doesn't refute what history tells us about him. you've used the term "brainswashed" repeatedly. you are so indoctrinated in joe smith lore that you flat out refuse to consider what FACTS tell us. FACTS speak louder then prayer. sorry.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk=atheists understand how faith works
Ok, tell me, how does faith work?
Documents of man do not undermine the spirit of 'God and faith. Ever. One man's fact is anothers fallisy.
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan "how does faith work?"
one need only reference your comments for that answer.
if documents can establish a church (the book or mormon starting the lds in this case), the authenticity of that document can absolutely determine the strength and longevity of it. thus, documents CAN under mind faith. that is a common issue with exmos who've left the church. facts are universal. that is their nature. documents show smith was arrested several times for money digging. this is a fact.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@punk -Your showing your ignorance. The BofM didn't start the LDS faith, the Prophet Joesph seeing a vision of God the Father and his son Jesus Christ started the religion, the BofM came later.
No document can undermine faith, as the definition of faith (I thought you knew this? smirk, guess not) faiith is evidence of things not seen. So you show your ignorance twice in one post. Shall we go for three? LOL
There is always those who lack faith, in any religion. Atheism=Faithless
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@plunderpunk -Prophets are not perfect people, they make mistakes and errors in judgement, reasoning etc. Big deal. Your points are moot, as they don't prove Joseph a Prophet or not a Prophet. Now, read this again, as this is my third time posting this, and you keep repeating Joseph dug for money, big deal, many have.
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan lets try the direct approach. money digging was bad. why? it involved trickery related to claims of having supernatural powers (ie divination, which is warned about in the bible). smith used the same seer stone to *steal* money from people with money-digging that he claimed to have used for the divine translating of the golden plates. this is all documented in secular and church documents. ok now. put this all together. maybe not to you, but others would find this very troubling.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk - I never claimed Joseph never money dug, you have a reading comprehension problem, (not to mention poor grammar) I said it doens't matter. It was a common practice to search for gold, silver in those days, Joseph was hired to try to find it, big deal. You act like your telling us new things, roll eyes. This is common knowlege, it's even mentioned in our scriptures. The Lord told him to stop and he did. Big deal. He was never convicted for anything related to this.
wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan money-digging isn't treasure hunting, you simpleton. it's divining. jospeh smith lied about having the gift of seeing treasures in the ground with his magical peep stone to trick people out of their money. not long after this part of his life he claimed to be translating golden plates he'd found with THE SAME MAGIC STONE he'd committed crimes with. smith OBVIOUSLY lied about BOTH the treasure finding and the translating. he was a liar plain and simple.

@Screamo2095 what would it matter if i cited chapter and verse in your own churches documents if, like with the Kinderhook Plates, it's fair game for you to deny it, saying "that was never proven. our apologists have covered this". what does it really matter? are mormons now taught that smith *wasn't* a folk magick practitioner? that he was *never* involved in money digging? these are all documented by non-vested sources as well as the churches own history. ipso facto.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk lol it would matter if you cited it cuz then i would know if you are speaking the truth or not haha and no we never believed he got a magic rock to find money? haha he used them to translate the Plates

wellsjdan 6 months ago
@wellsjdan in saying smith *wasn't* something damning, BUT if he was it wouldn't matter you're having your cake and eating it. plus, various court records as well as his father--in-laws infamous affidavit show that he was a scam artist in his pre-BOM days. does this *prove* he wasn't a prophet? honestly? knowing he was a scam artist *by trade* in the short time before his invention of the BOM, who would even bother with such a ridiculous proposition? the LDS teach none of this for a reason.
plunderpunk 6 months ago
@plunderpunk -in saying smith *wasn't* something damning, BUT if he was it wouldn't matter you're having your cake and eating it
I've dug for treasure, I've panned for gold, does that make me a money digger? Guess so, so what, doesn't make my calling with God any different. Your point is moot. For every bad story about Joseph, there is a good one, who you going to believe? I choose to believe spirit of God who says he was a Prophet, you choose to believe a story by someone you don't know.
wellsjdan 6 months ago

After his death she married him for eternity and husband Harris for Time! source:: "The Nauvoo Endowment Ceremonies, a Documentary History"

megathai 7 months ago
@megathai The Free Masons are the secular antithesis of the Catholic Church. That is why Mormons always say "It is between us and the Catholics. In fact the highest orders of Masonry are forbidden by the Church. Catholics pray for the conversion of the masons not in their destruction. Leanardo Da Vinci asked to be baptized before his death.
uncatila 7 months ago
@uncatila Why were they forbidden from the Church, after all they were just a fraternity for all kinds of men.
megathai 7 months ago
@megathai most lower levels are not evil and are not forbidden however the higher levels enter deeply into the occult making man a god. Mozart pissed off his fellow masons by revealing some of their secrets in the opera "the magic flute" In any case Fr Kolbe who died in Auschwitz dedicated his short life to the conversion of the Masons. We think them good people just misguided.
uncatila 7 months ago
@uncatila I understand, However what is so bad about masonry? They have the knowledge that makes complete sense in the series called "Spirit Science".
megathai 7 months ago
@megathai they are leading people into theological error which can cause a fall into sin and a loss of sanctifying grace. That is all. Satan is cleaver. He is smarter than all the smartest people in the world put together.
uncatila 7 months ago
@uncatila Sure, what is the difference between the freemasons of then and the ones of today?
megathai 7 months ago
@megathai World War one was sparked by a Masonic assassin who had just left the Black Hand. Our Revolution which turned out good was stared by Masons after they got our of their loge meeting. Ours turned out good because king George was head of church and State making him a Tyrant and no true King as was Louis 16 killed by massons in the french Revolt.
uncatila 7 months ago
@uncatila How do you know this stuff, anyway?
megathai 7 months ago
@megathai One needs to weigh a lot of information. There are always prose and cons. But the mind which is the soul was made for truth so if it is not diminished in it's capacity by sin then it will be able to discern between truth or fiction.
